Well, I rage quit when I couldn't build much in Gmod 13 anymore because all the tools were broken. So I uninstalled Gmod. But now I have re-installed it hoping to build some more crap. I have adv.ballsocket, Adv Dupe 2 and easy precision. But I can't seem to find Axis-Centre or Ballsocket-Centre. :( If anyone knows where I can find them it would be greatly appreciated. I can't seem to find them anywhere.
even easier solution, take your gmod 12 versions, change into to addon.txt, and it works.
OK, Now that I have once again started playing garrysmod, some questions have rised up. (Prolly noob ones) 1) I can get the steering working BUT when I attach and axis my wheels onto the "steering plates", what is the best thing to do so they wouldn't be so floppy and weak. 2) Even if I manage to attach my wheels onto the plates, 9 times out of 10 when the car is on the ground the wheels don't turn like they do in the air, it's like the steering isn't strong enough. I have changed the weight of the stick that steers to 200, but still no banana. 3) Is it best to MakeSpherical the wheels before or after attatching them to the steering plates?
Before. Not sure if it's been fixed now, but in G12 MakeSpherical often broke any constraints the prop had. So freeze the prop in place, MS, then apply constraints.
This is how I did it this time too but no suggestions about the wheels not turning?
What are you using to turn the wheels? Winches? Or hydraulics?
Hydraulics EDIT: I actually fixed the no turning by ONLY axising the wheels, and not ballsocketing, but car drifts like a madman. (I only have the base too atm, so its too light prolly)
Does anyone know anything about the Presets situation? OR PRECISION ALIGNMENT???? (Really Desperate)

What are these setang, applyangforce and applytorque steering methods? Also, by those settings you mean X, Y and Z right? Edit nr2: Well, using those settings, the wheels dont move practically at all, the can't turn nor rotate.(If I ballsocketed everything correctly that is)
First check you orientated your car, to the "north" of the map. I generally use one of Red's chip but you can also try to ask people. Then you can ballsocket your things with the settings Lubstar said.
What is this "Red's chip" ?
Would anyone happen to know a good tutorial on how to make a hovering aircraft (something like pod racers) using vector thrusters? The only ones I could find were on turrets and guided missiles.

100
Does anyone know anything about the Presets situation? OR PRECISION ALIGNMENT???? (Really Desperate)
Add me on steam. I can answer both of those questions.

Edit: Argh, lemme recount. 246?
And the closest bid without going over is... Jackpody's 214. It's an unreasonable 231 props.
yeeeeeaaaaaaaaaahhhhh time to think.
Hey guys, uh, I've not played Gmod in like 2-3 years. Just downloaded it. Still buggy as ever I see but what new: how does born editor work? How do I exit drive? What other new features are there? Where do I go for mods? What mods should I get? Why the fuck do L4D rag dolls refuse to spawn and crash my game? Why do tf2 ragdolls freeze my game for ages on first placement. what the fuck is going on I feel like I've gone to another planet ahhahshdlgpfns
Jackpody knows his prop counts.

what the fuck is going on I feel like I've gone to another planet ahhahshdlgpfns
Now its even worse, after gmod 13 we are still in recovery, everything broke. Born editor, newer heard of it. You exit same way you enter, use key (default E). New features are mostly vizual effects and engine tweaks, useless for builders. http://www.garrysmod.org and gmod workshop, or in OP, for wiremod go directly to theyr page(http://www.wiremod.com/forum/installation-malfunctions-support/30783-ultimate-guide-downloading-wiremod.html). You should get Advanced duplicator 2 Sprops (new and better than PHX) Wiremod Weight tool Make spherical, ultimate tool to avoid wheels from digging into map Fin 2 Nocolide All Multi tool Wenlys tools(Precision alignment) are a must have but sadly there is still no official version Also parent tool About ragdolls, did you mount L4D? And you need to downlaod and update TF2 or it will stream ragdolls while ingame
Bone* editor sorry. Thanks for the help. That probably explains OTC my Internet is crap so I've not updated either in a good year or so.
