Turned out the chassis I made for this one was WAAAAAYYYYYY to light. Only 2 000 gmwu (Gmod Weight Units)
Of course, once I corrected that weight to a more reasonable 13 000 gmwu, the engine didn't fit in it any more, so I made a new body

I'm planning on the final weight of this being in the range of 10 000 to 12 000 gmwu. It's still a wip, missing a few things, but I'm happy with the body shape so far.

What you call GMWU, is just normal metric kilograms. Which is roughly 2.2 pounds. Which makes no sence. Switch to Kilos muricans!
When is this bus race to take place? and what are the rules?
Are these races a monthly event? If yes, there has to be a pod race some day.

Hi guys, I'm building a mouse aimed tank turret and I'm facing a conundrum. When I use aimPos(), the turret works perfectly, but targets armor around me.
However, when I use eyeAngles() it "targets" properly, but rotating is a bit moody (in a sense of spinning like crazy while near the -180 - 180 step).
Would anybody of you happen to know the solution?

Ok, I wasn't sure since Gmod didn't report a unit, and I wasn't sure if the Havok physics engine was based on metric or imperial.

As the person below you suggested, use E2 Rangers. And because that's not immediately clear, I will elaborate.
Use E2 rangers to replace the eye trace E2 does to get eyePos. The reason this will make a difference is because you tell the built in ranger functions to ignore your props.
At least, this is what I assumed he meant.
Also also, it sounds like your are running into gimble lock with eyeAngles. Are you using quaternions? If you have no idea what I'm talking about, a quick google search for E2 gimble lock or E2 applyTorque quaternions should clear it up and show you how to do it.

I really want ACF weapons for players. Tank battles are fun but nothing says hardcore like running around a tank trying to shoot it with a panzerschreck.

The bazooka fires a 50mm HEAT shell at 200m/s, and the rifle fires a 12.7mm round at 970m/s
The package also contains a new ACF tool and ACF damage permission if you want to try them out too :)
(delete the acf torch first though because it bypasses the permission - i packed a replacement)
