There are a few of those at the bottom of the Blocks list. I plan to add a
lot more but I haven't felt like doing it.

I made the body and tried a horrible attempt at fins which ended up turning into a spiraling brick. He did all the fins. I made the neat retractable landing gears
Always wanted to build humanoid type mechs, this one actually uses its arms to lift the gun and point it where I want it to shoot. Weld latched so it can drop the gun at any time. Armed with a 40mm HMG and a 80MM for a grenade launcher.

And yes that's another WIP of mine in the background.
And I know the head is floating it has no neck atm. That's where the pod is so shoot it in the head and I will in fact die from a head shot.
Finally done with these. I hope they work out well for everyone, because they were a pain in the ass. I added a
couple other things too, and if anyone has any ideas for more mechanical-type props, let me know.
Gear teeth go from [i]10,12,14,16,18,24,30,36,42,48,54,60,66,72,78,84,90, and 96[/i] except for the bevel gears which only go up to 60.
There are two sizes, the larger size has diameters equal to the amount of teeth on the gear, and the smaller size is 50% of that.
Why anyone would need so many gears is beyond me, but why not add them anyway? The ratchet wheels have [i]15,30,45,60[/i] teeth
in case anyone wants to make a mechanical clock or something. Not shown are various cam devices.
Don't forget to copy the settings folder into the main garrysmod directory.

Good job with the gears. Anyhow, you think it'd be possible to take some of the smaller cylinder shapes and cut them in half / quarters, just like most of the other cylinders? Would help a lot for my car building.

I have had half/quarter cylinders and domes all ready to be uploaded for a few weeks, the problem is they won't mirror properly. If you notice in the spawnlist the tubes are on their side while the cylinders are upright. Because of that, when you mirror a cylinder the angles don't actually change, I didn't know this when I made them, and its too late to change now. Of course I could add the half/quarter pieces with fixed orientation, it would just look funky in the spawn lists.

Yes the the aiming is shit tho, had a battle with Kibbles and if the arm that's holding the front part of the gun gets blown the stability is shit. If the arm that holds the gun is gone it basically drops the gun.
I'm getting better and better at E2 now. I can make all sorts of holos, orbiting, spinning, color flashing. My favorite is a big pyramid with a holo eye that spins and orbits it which was inspired by the illuminati thing.
Anyway i'm just wondering how to use owner():lastSaid() in conjunction with soundPlay. I'm making a music player. I made it play triage at dawn when i say "Sad" and it plays, but when another person talks it starts going crazy. How can i fix this?
And by the way, what's this addon everyones using to make these cars and shit?

Use if(chatClk(owner())) {blah} to figure out if you're the person saying the thing. Stops other people messing with your chip. Also for the other question you're either talking about SProps for the models or ACF for the engines.
we need some kind of standardised turret aiming entity (just to aim and move the gun) that maybe uses ACF engine power (actually on second thought that isn't that good of an idea), I love what ACF engines did for locomotion, and it seems aiming has been/is the largest disparity between player solutions - I see all kinds of e2 aiming implementations of varying quality with equality varying ops loads
probably have a couple of size/weight classes of it, and yeah probably not engine power but similar to ACF mobility; turning speed and such is related to the (physical and otherwise) mass of what it is moving around, sound effects and angle clamping
I've got two chips that run at barely 10/20 ops if I set the interval to 10, at cost of slight strength. I can also clamp the depression and elevation and I have another set of chips for tank destroyers that clamp side to side motion as well.
I also have a chip that visually shows a HUD for ammo, gears and an arbitrary crosshair/dispersion system.
