Map im on isnt long enough to reach the top speed, but it gets to 145km/h before shifting into 5th

I made my first shitty box truck today and learnt a ton of things from a bunch of people on the server I was on; thanks to them.

I agree with you on that, I have a 3 second delay between "cuting" the power when the engine hits shiftRPM, and going into next gear. However, I think the dual gearbox system is unrealistic and "cheaty"

It is not cheating if everyone can use it if they choose. It is plenty realistic, it shifts in 1/66th of a second which is on par with Direct Shift Gearbox systems that this system was created to be the gmod equivalent of.

Realized my strategy with the light tank- building first, then making it work- was kind of a dumb idea. Started on a new design, either a medium tank or tank destroyer, with a wider chassis, making sure it could actually drive before I finished it.

As far as ACF operated tanks go, how do you people make your turrets? Mine always seem WAY too top heavy and sometimes even flip my vehicle. And yes, I know how to parent to a wire chip and all. It just seems the gun (which cannot be parented) is too heavy, even though my tank's body and tracks are 30 tons or more. (gun is like 2750u)
