That landy is nice, it could easily be a 88' wheelbase. Not all Land Rovers are built on the 109"(series wagon) or the 110"(defender wagon) wheelbase.
I've made it the 86' wheelbase from 1956. Currently has wierd wheels because none of the wheels I can find fit the wheelsize at all. Edit: I'm not pleased at all! Feels like I need to make it smaller... Only good thing about it is the shape of the front and my new solid axle suspension system which is the best I've ever made. Advanced Duplicator 2 does not like polyweld -.-

anyone figure out a good solution for makespherical making tanks roll over at high speed? I still get that with superfast tanks.

The Base should not stick above the road wheels. - Red, add me to steam. Does anyone know how I get all the models of ep1, ep2, css, dod to spawn on my dedicated server?

Also no idea. :( [editline]FAK[/editline] Fuck pageking, no content. Shit. here, have a tank m46 Legionaire. 30 tons 100mm good armor. Same p/w as a T-72. Set up for a much larger powerplant for later on. Treads and cupola are holo.
Well I tried swaybars with axised props and ropes with precision alignment, turned out pretty good, Went from rolling over if I turned at 30 because the suspension was soft to having no problem turning at 50 and if it did roll, it was because of the width not the suspension. Works pretty well, (but note: don't try to do it with hydraulics without gravity turned on for the props, when you unfreeze it, it spazzes and freezes gmod in all of like 1 tick.) Just make sure the props have gravity turned on. Picture:

Just sayin'. but good times.
anyone figure out a good solution for makespherical making tanks roll over at high speed? I still get that with superfast tanks.
poor mass center. weld parent your armor to make more physical mass. my tanks are usually around 50% physical mass to counter recoil, offer more rigidity, unfuck spheres, etc. [editline]8th June 2012[/editline] also, anyone have any ideas for some quick tutorial videos i can make? i was thinking about showing how to do kafouille's antiroll bars, perhaps one troubleshooting sphere wheels as well.
I find that makesperhical wheels to be laggy, so I'm not going to use them anymore. Found that out when I deleted a makesperhical wheel from my 2x4 car and the lag-o-metre for the server drops a lot.
Second tank. 50 props and functional. Needs some detailing and stuff yet. Has a Light MG (12.9mm I think?? Can't remember) and a 50mm Cannon. This one has suspension which works quite well and can withstand a decent load. Still looking at different ways I can do suspension setups though. ACF 15L I4 Diesel Powered. Not super fast, but fast enough that I actually want to drive it. Weight is 14.5t. Since we have autoloaders now, I think this might be a nice touch. Fuck fraps, recording my iTunes. Tho it synced up nicely, fucking weird.
also, anyone have any ideas for some quick tutorial videos i can make? i was thinking about showing how to do kafouille's antiroll bars, perhaps one troubleshooting sphere wheels as well.
how's kaf doing roll bars? ALso acf tank steering might be useful.
Hnnnnngggg If I could build I'd make this SO HARD.
going to have to make it sometime [editline]7th June 2012[/editline]
poor mass center. weld parent your armor to make more physical mass. my tanks are usually around 50% physical mass to counter recoil, offer more rigidity, unfuck spheres, etc. [editline]8th June 2012[/editline] also, anyone have any ideas for some quick tutorial videos i can make? i was thinking about showing how to do kafouille's antiroll bars, perhaps one troubleshooting sphere wheels as well.
do one for car steering because i can never get it to work

added it to OP under your tutorials. wop.
ALso acf tank steering might be useful.
If my computer didn't cap me off at about 13-15FPS while FRAPSing I could do it. I even have a simple little E2 I made that works nicely with it.
Some ACF armoring things I found out. Left one has 160mm front at 45 degrees, sides 180mm, back 180mm, top 30mm, 14 140mm rounds, mass 17.9t. Right 230mm all round, 20 140mm rounds, mass 16.7t. Also 40t tank I'm working on. EDIT: Also F*** 50mm, 75mm autoloaders mount 2 cannons instead.
having ammo inside of props is against the rules of acf combat
aye, it's not allowed to use "block armor" because it's bullshit
I make exploding blowout panels, because fuck armor. And 025x blocks for base props aren't a crime. Stuffing all your ammo inside of one makes ppl rage, but having the bottom of a tall crate in one i don't see a problem with.
Is there an autoclutch implemented in the acf engine? because I feel like the engine looses power from time to time. Please remove this.
Corsair combat ready with four alternate firing 30mm HMGs. Retracts by way of fading door. It even stalls realistically if it pitches too sharply out of relative wind, though I have no idea how I got it to do that, I certainly didn't strike out for that, but it kind of pleases me. Feels strikingly similar to Il-2. B, Sd.Kfz. 186. 248 props and still WIP on the e2. Original Armor value's and using a 120mm gun compansating for the 128mm KVK the real one used. Holo barrel recoils back into the tank and slowly comes forth again to create realism. [editline]23rd February 2012[/editline] Hmm ye the stug III Ausf A, looks quite good. Also the Sherman does it's job but to comment along with the crowd: The Sherman needs more weathering on it's color (make it look more dark green, bit of rust etc etc.) And the Stug III indeed is quite small, i made a StugIII before without exterior armor plates on the sides, and as i build it of a picture i can remember the stug has 8 wheels, total each side. On the picture i can only count 6. Example of my stug:
I love you more than anything ever at all right now. (Btw I have a tank made out of crates. Impressive right?)
While we're bumping shit from two weeks ago, I missed Mr white's comment about rpms. That's why i don't use I4s; having two separate ignition points makes it so much harder to stall I never really have that problem. Then again my engines are usually fairly low p/w ratio, but high-torque. Speaking of which... Fucking CHAINSAW
Hi there, I'm currently working on a E-100
Who else giggled with madness at the sheer fucking size of everything? (ESPECIALLY THE GUN. /giggle/)
