Started Building my first tank, sttering still needs alot of work :S and the gear ratios need sorted aswell but apart from that it's nearly done (Stole Frankness' Flag idea with the facepunch logo, seemed like a nice touch haha)

Better than anything I've ever done. Best I've come up with is a 203mm self-propelled howitzer that had armor roughly as sturdy as notebook paper. Fat fuck still weighed in at a good 20 tons and it hit like a truck, but it can quite easily get one-shotted by a 75mm cannon firing AP ammo.

On a plus side armoring it is just a matter of whipping the weight STool out, and the heavier I make it the better the suspension works...well, I say suspension, it mostly relies on the constraint flop you get with 20 tons of tank riding on 200 weight tires. :v: I just sorta axis'd 'em on.

Heh. I was pleasantly surprised when it rode as soft as it does. I was expecting it to be bouncy as all hell, but it isn't. It rides like a dream. Nice and plush. The wheels stay upright too, I connected the frontmost wheels to the gearbox and just ballsocketed the rest to those two, and I think that's what holds the main wheels up. Power comes from two 11L Radials through a four speed dual-clutch, three forward one reverse, gearbox, while steering provided by my own tank steering E2 and a joystick input. I imagine it would drive fine with the big V8 and V12 diesels too but I like the sound of the two radials too much. I used a 23L V12 diesel in the dozer I built on that chassis, though.

Mounts a 14.5mm. Maximum armor thickness of 3/4 of an inch. Does 42mph with its 100hp radial and only weighs 2 tons. Very cramped inside

Sweet donuts. I have to say the 6.9L sounds terrible though. I usually use a 9.0L V12 or an 11L R7 in vehicles a 6.9 would normally be used in for that reason alone.
