Just so you all know, the only reason ACF engines exist is to balance ACF battles. Literally nothing more.

I do believe that the original purpose of acf engines was a balancing system for armored vehicles though.

More drama in the WiP thread than on facebook, I enjoyed this.

If you don't know, ACF engines started off as three I4s. For a while, they stayed in this state, just enough to power tanks. A few more engines were added, and the community called out for more. There were a couple of car-sized engines which were enough to power small tanks, but it was seen that the community used ACF engines for more than just tank battles; they pretty much depended on them for building. This spawned out the rotary engines, and the turbines -- the aircraft engines. This, however, has given the building community, as well as the ACF community more ammo in arguments that everything besides wheeled vehicles is completely and absolute bullshit. A lot of members don't like this, including me. I really just wanted to point out the fact that it started as kind of an afterthought and grew from there, and really, they only exist as balancing means. This also means that your cocks shouldn't be sucked because you don't have the [I]exact[/I] engine you want. Just learn some E2 and make your own engine if it's not going to be in an ACF match against other armoured vehicles; it's not that hard. If you can't figure it out, I'm sorry, but you really don't have room to argue.

It's changed from being "to balance tanks" and is now "a replacement for Applytorque that creates a level playing field". If you're having a race in GMOD, there's nothing stopping the other guy from tricking out his entire system to go as fast as he wants. The ACF engines provide a more level playing field through complexity, I suppose.

I have not built anything in garrysmod for quite awhile. Yet after a quick skirmish in Yuri's Revenge I decided to try and construct Yuri's strategic superweapon. The Psychic Dominator. Including making it functional somehow.

The bridge (honestly, this thing is so big, this is a suitable name) is coming along nicely. I'll have to resume once GM13 is up and running with all the necessary stuff fixed.

Looking really good but maybe a little bit big. Did you use any size references such as rangers with the correct sizes or did you build it using just what works? Seems really cool though.

In other words, I just eyeball it. lol.

I've gotten so used to it, i can't build without it. It basically keeps all my favourites right there for me to use really quick.

He's great at doing holographic stuff, he's generally a great great guy at E2. He's doing the whole engine for this thing.

Sup homes, i just wanted to apologise and whatnot for the completely irrelevant post with the 300 guy and the 4chan and the trawlin n whatnot, i got a little carried away which got me off topic and into trawlin mode. my opinion stands tho :U but right now i am working on a jeep mighty fc concept, i dont ahve any pics atm but give me a week when i get back from colorado and ill have some pics. and for those who where pulling a fry farnsworth yes... all the nonsense that was unrelated was trollin. kinda hard not to when you guys are on a hare trigger.
