I recall reading something about not being allowed to use non-ACF seats at all for fairness reasons ('proper' damage model added onto the ACF seats or something).
Maan i poured alot of time into this tank just for it to be illegal Dx But i learned alot. In the end it was quite simply Too small for alot of that Dx

Store ammo on a vehicle, don't like throw it under the map or something. Wirey bits should be in vehicle too, but they're small, so doesn't really matter that much.
Can't stick parts under map.
No herpy-derpy auto-aim/auto-radar see-through-walls hacky shit.
No sticking crap inside trollyarmored box props (though this is usually disadvantageous because of acf's balance), exception for things like top of pod.
No putting your gun inside someone else's tank then shooting like "fuck yo armor" [SUB]it happens occasionally by accident, but w/e, try not to.[/SUB]
Can't make pod weigh a ton and then god yourself. Pod goes on vehicle unless it's like a UAV.
Can't stuff everything in your base prop unless you're trying to make Max lose his fucking MIND (it's fun to watch)
I think that's it, I'm at school and really can't be arsed to remember it all.
If you build a tank you have to use my tracks. No exceptions. :downs:

also limit your gun elevation realistically (no breech out of turret shit). most tanks have aroudn 20 angles of elevation, and 10 of depression, give or take. If it's russian, just weld your gun to the turret, because fuck hull down.[/QUOTE]

MakeSperical, changes the tires (any prop) hit model to perfect sphere, link should be on OP.

No, at most add it alongside PHX. Lots of people (well, everyone I think) has lots of stuff made with PHX and they love them and would like to make them working once it's possible in 13. My guess is they wouldn't be happy if one day all that stuff appeared as a big pile of errors or not appear at all.
Personal bitch: I find the sprops material to be... too bright. It just hurts my eyes when using them, the gray-ish PHX material was much better to me.

It is all about the stability and on how you build it. I use PA on pretty much anything, and i could achieve 115 MPH on the wire speedo with 30 sized wheels.(About 154-155 MPH on DepthHud, which is the real speed.)

Yeah I'd like to see a source on that. Very unlikely due to how Adv Dupe (both the original and AD2) save the contraption information in a way that is completely independent to how the tool itself is coded.

Uh, no. Wheels that are size 30 are limited to 100mph, it has nothing to do with precision, if you exceed 100mph (real speed) the wheels start to spaz.

It has all to do with precision, if they are spazzing then something is placed uneven... Ive gotten smaller wheels than 30 to speeds of 150 without spazz, with propper suspension.

Getting the position for the mortar round to land on flat ground is rather easy (not sure if you're on terreign or not.) but calculating where it should land on hard terreign is a totally different matter.

How did you end up doing it and is the camera positioned where the round will land, or the weapon aimed at what the camera is above?

No no no, constraints go haywire after around 1200-1400 RPM. The wheels staying straight and properly connected above that speed is more likely than not luck.
Okay, how about this. I completly redid the interior of my tank so the wire, pods, and acf stuff doesn't really clip anymore. I even found space to replace all the wire models with cool tank insides =D

PA Ballsockets allow upto 1800 RPM. After that, my engines flywheel turns around and wheels start to spazz.
Well, since constraints fail after between 1200 to 1400 rpm as observed by many players including myself, what you say sort of goes against the public consensus on the matter. I think we need an official battery of controlled tests to verify this.

It's not that I don't believe you, it's just that your claim goes against what the community has established thus far. I didn't mean to sound like an ass, sorry.
Why does ACF forbid you from linking up wire entities? If i turn my wheel or something into a wire gate so i can parent a rim onto it or something, why does acf care that it's a wire gate and not a regular prop?
