But you'd need a special-made text editor to change the code, a simple special-made file browser to choose where to save it, a way to make GMod search the XBox's hard drive to look for addons, etc. I don't have an XBox so I don't know if that's even possible, but whatever. All that sounds like quite a task in itself.

Yes, yes, you [i]can[/i] do it. But that would lack common sense. It's possible but not probable. You can do the same for the PS3 as well, it also has a keyboard. However, Consoles lack the capability to freely copy content onto it. Naturally, you could just download it on your PC and put it on a flash drive and then copy it onto your 360/PS3. However, I do not see people going through the trouble. In that, Consoles can't install general use programs such as WinRar or WinZip. Therefore, Garry's Mod.org and SVN's will be unavailable and of course, Microsoft and Sony would only do that for a hefty price that would probably be more expensive than initially buying garry's mod. The thread isn't a "bad" idea, It has been thought of before and will be thought of after this. Garry's Mod isn't a console game, simple as that. The only ways you could get addons would be to either pay (knowing how greedy Microsoft is), or something else that's totally impractical. Instead of saying NO I'M RIGHT RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR every time someone gives you a reason why it wouldn't work, learn to take no for an answer.

You dick, you can plug any USB human interface device compatible keyboard into a 360 and it will work for text input. It just occurs that no games take use of that because if you plug a mouse into a 360 it goes "Durr?, How is mouse pointer formed?" Rated BOX because; you dork. It's pretty obvious that the 360 is underpowered in CPU terms for this, and the fact that one bloke from walsall'd have a nightmare just starting to port to 360.

Gmod on the 360 is nothing like those examples. those were possible. this is not. end of story. there is nothing we can do to change that and we shouldnt either. Gmod belongs on the PC where modding is possible for people that use their consoles correctly. instead of complaining the 360 cant have Gmod, why not just go spend $1000 and get a high end gaming rig and buy gmod. problem solved.
