Unfortunately this solution cannot even be fixed since the original owner of this gamemode cannot get off his ass and sort it out. Instead he tells other people to 'shut up and play' and expect us to cope with the crap the server gets every day.
If the publisher had paid more attention to suggestions and bugs and actually cleaned up the mess the gamemode has gotten itself into, this mod will be great. Until then, I don't see this gamemode lasting long in the real world.

How? The force field would be right on the sides of the boat. It would still have the same effect as regular prop pushing
I thought about that while playing the server awhile ago. Yeah, but people could still rest on-top of the props, unless they are basically flung off when touched, which would still have pushing issues.
Maybe if it is just made super-slick to - others, but I don't see that helping much...
Maybe if they enter the boat, then they have a 5 second timer ticking down and when it hits zero, they get slayed, or something.

You need to make it a penalty for not building anything. It gets so fucking annoying when you build your own boat and then a bunch of minges come and knock you off. I say that the serve should check to see if any player has more than 2000 dollars. And if they do, and they don't build anything in a round, then they get fined 500-2000 dollars. If they have less than 2000 dollars, then no penalty will be given.
Is it just me or can you earn money by being alone on a server?
As mentioned by a few people already, bugs can happen when your alone.
the flood mod is fantastic. i was playing it today (no Australian servers, damn) and it was really well made. nice job find me.
To fix the bugs with only 1 person in the server, do a check to see how many players there are, then if there isn't over 1 player, start the build mode again.
...and it should display a message too, so people don't scream about it being a bug.

Look for init.lua.
Find 'findme' and replace with your own ID.
That's for owner, I think he wants to know how to add Gold Members. Also, do not change the bit that says findme, change the STEAM ID next to it, leaving in the quotes.

800? Also, someone said something about being on a boat for 5 sec, and slain. Still, we have to be practical, it'd - be hard work to detect 'ontop - of' .

You don't need to have Prop Protection in addons for your server, people, it's already included in the Gamemode.

Yeah, but it might conflict if you install another one.
It works but when the flood starts the water doesn't hurt me i don't have any guns only phys gun and it gets rid of my ship.
Like we've said many times, there's bugs if your playing by yourself.
