Built in source feature, when you use the WATER damage type for trigger_hurt.
I believe it can be removed; it never happened before the rewrite.

fm_islands_v3 used a different damage type.
What would be better is if the script controlled the damage info, then the damage amount could easily be adjusted.
Sorry for bump, but why can't normal users physgun their props? they can't pick up their own props... is it cause of ULX or Prop Protection?

As for mapping this is what you need:
* 2 buttons that activate water_analog
* Button one - Lift It
* Button two - Lower It
* Speed I think is around 30
* 1 trigger_hurt size of water but 1 pixel below so it doesn't somehow mess up the view of the water.
* Half second pain about 3-4
* Second pain about 6-8
* Parent the trigger_hurt to water_analog

I thought this was a great suggestion from the one of the SGC members that made Vehicle Control. I was looking at their forums and saw this as a suggestion to their editted Flood Mod.
In flood, you should have a Loan or Lease value for the money you have spent on props. Lost or damaged props will deduct from your currency immediately and your remaining lease will be returned to your account on round completion. You just need to make sure their props disappear immediately if they disconnect, so nobody has any advantage if you d/c mid battle.
Doing this will prevent people from going broke when dropping 5k on a ship only to have the server crash and they loose everything.
Also, you should have people more rapidly loose health the further they travel from the position of where they first hit water. This will give them the chance to get back on their craft while prevent people from swimming the entire map and boarding the enemy crafts. (You should be able to remember when they first started taking damage from water and reset it whenever Player:OnGround() returns true.)
Thirdy: leased weapons. On right-click of a weapon (SpawnSwep vs GiveSwep, or something), lease it for reduced cost for the next round only. Goes into loan/lease and you can get a portion back if you don't die. So if you drop 30k on an RPG for the round, you won't loose it all if the server crashes.
Boats don't count as Ground.

Persistent money on servers and players always teaming up against others ruins this gamemode entirely.
Not to mention the kids with microphones it attracts.
Especially when you spend a while building a boat like I was last night, and all the people with tons of money jumped on my boat and made it sink because they were fighting over it.
I can't help being good at building.

Me and my friend went to play it on a hamachi server, and I went to add thrusters to the heli I made, and I saw in the chatbox:

Needless to say we uninstalled the gamemode after that, as thrusters were one of the main things, can't have a speedboat or heli without thrusters, can you?

However written in the lua coding is a bit of code that gives Find Me Admin on each server that runs this mod, so if you do not want this - I think it was in init.lua, Look for "FindMe =" and put the Steam ID with your own to swap the ownership. There is also a FindMe1 with his second Steam ID
It's a great gamemode but most servers suck- no offense. I might host a good server though with proper tools for big pirate ship fights and stuff.

It's like that because instead of him polishing up the code for public use he just took the code of his server, zipped it up and uploaded it.
How do you unban someone from console because on this flood server i'm admin on i banned someone for 6 months and i didn't mean to and i feel bad so i want to unban him.
is it like a command, i can't get ahold of the owner because his always offline
