Tomorrow, 1,500 people are getting banned for using Script Enforcer bypasses. - Garry's Mod

I would love for those who claim to not be hackers to post their steam ID. I would love to see their ban history.

What if garry does something that breaks it because he added new functionality into his anticheat? You're not getting the point here, why should I have to use a piece of third party software to achieve something garry could do officially in 10 minutes at the most? I really don't understand why you oppose adding a cvar that disables the ban list, what's it do to harm you or the other servers who want the ban list?

It's not hard to put the cvar inl, and it feels better trusting something official that garry does than running some unknown third party binary. We have the source, yes, but not everyone knows how to compile it, nor should they be expected to. What if it breaks, and then someone has to refind the signature that it uses because the original developer doesn't update it? If you don't like it, odds are that's your only option.

Maybe, just maybe, he will listen to us, and add it, just like with the error num. If not, let's hope he goes for direct kicking!

This has derailed, so I'm closing it because none of you are listening. The keypoints: 1. I am not going to add a convar to allow cheaters to play on your server because this is their punishment for cheating 2. I don't care if you make some hack to let banned people join your server.
