Tomorrow, 1,500 people are getting banned for using Script Enforcer bypasses. - Garry's Mod

Is there anywhere list of cheaters?

No-one got banned for simply Lua scripts. I can guarantee that. Everyone that got banned had some kind of SE bypasser, injector or dll.

Before reinstall it would say I was global banned right after getting the server info, after reinstalling I could get all the way to Sending Client info. Some one may want to look into this glitch. --snip-- (I really hope I am using this correctly) Lets say a person got banned, and they are willing to do any thing to get unbanned. Is there any thing they can do? Anything at all?

I heard sucking Garry's dick is a good place to start for getting unbanned.

I think VAC bans are better than these, I am not sure though. Because I never saw many people whine over VAC bans unlike GAC.

After people re-buy the game Garry is going to remove his ban system... Trust me.

You guys are oevr-reacting to the 75% sale. The reason he reduced it was to be nice to the people that were just banned and to give them a chance to buy the game again. If I was banned I wouldn't hesitate to buy another copy of GMod straight away regardless of it being on sale - I assume many others would be the same as well. The people hacking needed to be banned, they only benefit from the opportunity to buy the game at a cheaper cost.

Ill just buy four copies of garrysmod for the same price. That way I could cheat on all but one of those accounts. Hell use a different cheat for each account.

I'm pretty sure that this is a steamid ban correct me if I'm wrong (according to the TOS [url]http://www.garrysmod.com/terms/[/url]).

So, if you give someone a .exe file that bypasses sv_allowcslua and he opens it, he gets a permaban? Well, that can be a good trick for April fools.

I am sure if people could pay the full price of the game or may be a little more to get another chance, Garry would make more profit because of 1. A percentage wont be going to Steam, and 2. It is cheaper for people to pay 10 or more dollars just for Garrysmod then rebuying all of the games that plug in to it. Think about it. (I am going to go make a separate thread about this...)

That steam sale was actually a dumb move if he wanted to stop cheating. For the price of two garrysmods, I now have 8. That means I have 8 accounts to return to servers with after being banned and continue being naughty. It's going to be pretty hard to keep hackers out if they join later when you aren't on to admin your server with an alt.
