We know it's the model, and probably the ragdoll because it seems to only happen when people die. Also, I've discovered while playing with 12+ people on the bigger maps, a timer of some sort needs to be added, it will probably cause the pigs to lose if they can't turn off the Ultimate Chimera in time to motivate them to stop camping. I got some requests to make a Steam group, [url=http://steamcommunity.com/groups/chimerahunt][b]so that's up now.[/b][/url] When I get the next update out I'll probably distribute through SVN so there aren't a shitton of different versions spread about. It'll be my first SVN job but it doesn't appear to be very hard.

hmmm i think i know what making people crash but im not a coder its just my experience of what happened. When i was playing on a server i crashed right when the Chimera roared and someone pressed the button on his back and i was looking right at it when it happened.
fix the fucking crashes. That's my only complaint about this, everything else, maybe aside from too many pigs, is perfect.

Instead of the Pigmasks trying to kill the Chimera, the Chimera would have to stop the Pigmasks from reaching the next level. However, instead of dying when you press the button, he'd just deactivate for 20 seconds or so until the bird wakes him up. He'd have to have some kind of temporary invulnerability or something so people can't just camp and keep hitting the button whenever he gets up, and the Pigmasks would need some way to get around the puzzles. You'd probably want to eliminate NPCs, too. Also, Colonels should rank up to Scary Womanizing Pigmasks. Also also, no fall damage would be nice.

It's directly connected to my PigMask model but I don't know who what where when why, or how. Something to do with the ragdoll. But I have no idea what I need to change to fix the issue. As far as I can tell, nothing is amiss. But obviously something Is wrong.

Just played on Jokers server, I love the different coloured pigs and ranks. I can imagine this being even better when custom maps are released.
I just thought, why not add the sound from mother 3 when one of your party members hp drops to 0? Its just an idea.

Regarding my server, I have a damaged line thats why you guys were lagging. I have a temp fix for it applying tomorrow. And the custom maps looks awesome! Plus for some reason at the end of each round I start timing out but then it reconnects, known issue or just me ? Also the custom map, it looks abit high doesn't it ?

Also the custom map, it looks abit high doesn't it ?[/QUOTE] Certain maps, mainly TF2 ones, freeze for a second when a new round starts because I'm using this function that cleans up the map and sets everything back to the way it was when it was loaded. This let's breakable props and stuff go back to normal so the next Chimera can still interact with them. In TF2 there's a shitton of entities that GMod doesn't know what to do with (TF2 map entities, like the health packs and harvest ghost) and it causes a stutter. It'd be fast, small, and hard to catch, but the Pigmasks would have to get close and click on/+use it to prevent it from turning on the Chimera once it's deactivated. However, the bird has to hit the button within a time limit or else the pigs win. It's not perfect- it'd probably be a bitch to implement, and you'd have to make sure that the bird's fun to play- but it'd give the Chimera a second chance, the Pigmasks a second target, and make one less person against the UC.
The bird is a prop attached to the ragdoll chimera, right?

You could feasibly detach it and create/animate a second model with just the bird, but it'd probably be a lot of work which is part of why it's a bitch to implement.

The bird is a part of the UC model, but there's also a version of it that's just a prop. The bird ideas don't seem bad, but they also seem unnecessary. I'll think about it. Update should hopefully be out today if I stay on it and don't get lazy.
I was talking about that the bird is a teleporter too :D.
