DetCalver, can you avoid spamming your problems all over Facepunch, I've seen you post that three times already. --- On topic:
Hey are we still putting CLua Modules in garrysmod/lua/bin/? My CLua Modules aren't getting detected (aka MySQLOO).
Unless I've missed something, it's the same place.
Quick question to whoever has downloaded the update ( probably everyone besides me ), does the GMod content lie in steamapps/username/garrysmod/ or /steamapps/common/garrysmod, like CSS?
Made it a little more general for mounting as a whole, but here we are: http://wiki.garrysmod.com/page/Mounting_content_on_Dedicated_Servers [editline]6th June 2013[/editline]
Quick question to whoever has downloaded the update ( probably everyone besides me ), does the GMod content lie in steamapps/username/garrysmod/ or /steamapps/common/garrysmod, like CSS?
If you wipe out the content entirely, it appears under common. Otherwise it will probably be in the same place as before.

I HAVE FOUND HOW TO FIX YOUR ADDONS NOT WORKING IF YOUR SERVER IS LINUX!!! Rename all your addons folders to make sure there are NO capital letters or spaces, and go through all your sub folders to make sure there aren't any in those either. That fixed the problems for me. If you're on Windows and have the issue, can't help ya. Why that didn't affect it before, no clue.
Not sure if this has been answered elsewhere, but is there a reason gamemodes aren't showing up up on the main menu? Like, ones from the Steam workshop, i.e prop hunt, Extreme Football Touchdown are, but ones I've made are not. I don't want to have to put my shitty Team Deathmatch on the workshop to continue to edit it ):

In the old garrysmod/gamemodes directory, or in the common/GarrysMod directory?
didnt letter case and spacing always affect how linux read files on linux servers? linux is and always has been case sensitive
For some reason it was working fine for us until the update, and from the looks of it, other people as well. Previously stuff had capital letters and spaces and worked fine.

I know that you've always had to ensure that code was code sensitive, but it would still read/load capital letters and spaces as long as everything's case matched up.

Who knows what happened.
Unfortunately 5.x versions of Centos only have GLIBC3.4.11 available I believe so you will need to update to 6.x which requires a fresh install. Apparently there are some hacky methods to get newer binaries working but I had no luck doing so.
Yeah, I ran into this problem. We've got several hacky "solutions" that work over in a thread I posted yesterday, http://facepunch.com/showthread.php?t=1275951 , if you want to check them out. I found that coping the old bin folder over to the new install fixed it up for me.

Are you sure it's just Linux?

I don't have a Windows server and I only know one person with a Windows server so I can only go on that.
Valve/Garry always breaks compatibility with CentOS, don't use it for source servers. They use Ubuntu Server, you should use the same distro they are to ensure compatibility. I fucked up this way in 2011 and got to pay for an idling box for 6 months but that was also because valve broke vphysics.
MY EARS Warning: contains loud noises Anyways it seems that some sounds didn't convert properly for some reason or another and this is the result. Fun fact: this is not occurring on my laptop, which despite being updated still has it's Gmod in steamapps/username/garrysmod/garrysmod instead of being in common. It also effects other people on my server and it's the same noises. MP5 firing, ammo pickup and the knife hit. This are just what I've observed and above is a video demonstrating the bug. I'm not quite sure how to fix this, but in another thread someone tried reinstalling all of his source games and it didn't help, so I'm just going to put this here.
Fun Fact: READ THE THREAD
My garrysmod folder is still in steamapps/username like it has always been. It has not created a new folder in common. Am i doing anything wrong? I have all my content working (css, hl2, episodes), but it still runns the game, and uses the steamapps/username/garrysmod folder, and there's no folder in common. (Also video for fixing content http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=2tc1HJKJ1jA)

One of the folder is in the right place and the other one is just wasting 4GB of space so I dont mind that - backup ^^
Fun Fact: READ THE THREAD
I just thought it would be helpful to point out that it works on some computers and not others, specifiacally ones where the garrysmod folder wasn't moved yet; I thought perhaps there was some sort of correlation? I did just do a quick search and saw that someone else posted a video, but it was more or less ignored in the following posts I read. Didn't mean to cause any trouble. I can understand that steampipe has caused problems for everyone and everyone's blaming you even though it's not our fault. it couldn't be avoided and there was nothing you could do about it. It's obvious that you're doing everything you can and it's stressful, so I wish you luck. Just don't bite my head off xD
Where are the new Gmod files stored? I went to where they use to be stored and it says I have all my maps and textures but when I try join a server it says I'm missing the map but I already have it downloaded and it wont let me join the server. :/ And I moved all my maps to the new Gmod folder in common but still not registering I have any maps or textures.

How would one mount Counter Strike: Source on his server? I tried doing it by installing CS:S through SteamCMD then mounting it in the mount.cfg as cstrike, but it doesn't work for some reason.

I no I did that, found the files, put my maps in the map folder but it does nothing. It's like both of those folder do nothing for me and there is a hidden one somewhere.
Post the contents of your cfg file.

"mountcfg" { "cstrike" "cstrike" "ep2" "ep2" "episodic" "episodic" "hl2mp" "hl2mp" "lostcoast" "lostcoast" }
well, it worked [editline]7th June 2013[/editline] Also there's no ep1, ep2 directories. So that's out of the window I guess. [editline]7th June 2013[/editline]
"mountcfg" { "cstrike" "D:\gmodcoastrp\gmod\steamapps\common\Counter-Strike Source" "ep2" "ep2" "episodic" "episodic" "hl2mp" "hl2mp" "lostcoast" "lostcoast" "hl2" "D:\gmodcoastrp\gmod\steamapps\common\Half-Life 2" }
Better?
If that's where they are, then that should work. For other content like EP2, see http://wiki.garrysmod.com/page/Retrieving_content_to_be_mounted_on_a_Dedicated_Server
I fixed my issue. You can't install gmod and CSS to the same directory. You need to install them to different directories and then mount CSS to gmod with mount.cfg.
