Your problem is that you thought it would be like Stalker Co-op. This is Stalker [i]Roleplay[/i]. If people are saying that you're being a minge and trolling, there is probably a good reason. If you were being a perfect little roleplayer, then get some screenshots of this happening so that we can deal with it, there cannot always be an admin on to deal with people.
Ironically, I always considered our script a little under average, and our community and roleplay great. Most people in our community share this belief, which contradicts yours.
Thats the thing, I didn't do ANYTHING on the server but look around on the map and when I asked a traders for work, one of them teleports to me and starts stabbing me and calling me a minge and troll along with other people. It did not occur to me to take screen shots of them killing me, my top priority at that point was trying to figure out what the fuck just happened, And by stalker co-op, I meant a sort of stalker multiplayer besides the death match that stalker comes with. I wont be returning to the servers, While I was talking to an admin about the server, he even admit that there are too many trolls and such.
I'm sorry to hear that, try and go on the server again, and if something happens, get screenshots so I can personally deal with it for you.
I unbanned you from the forums, Tuxedo. Apparently it was your brother trolling our forums that got you banned. Might also be why you got called a troll on the server.

Sure you downloaded everything from the website? If so your not missing anything. Just something wrong with Gmod, or you put it in the wrong file.
I just played today, there wasn't alot of people on but it was fun wheni got a little bit of roleplaying.

Yeah, downloaded everything except the hand replacement, installed it correctly and double checked, still see errors and checkerboards everywhere. :/
For some reason I'm thinking it might have something to do with windows 7. I've noticed it doesn't like to run some games correctly if it isn't in administrator mode, so I'll make sure hl2.exe launches as an admin.

Make sure it's not in addons, otherwise; it might be a conflicting file that you have, which I cannot help with

It should be very red during emissions, but not completely. Check your post-processing tab and see what is checked. During the next emission, toggle them randomly to see if it gets fixed. It should work, since emissions are mostly post processing.
I would definitely play this if it was a non-RP game mode; giving players goals depending on their classes and then rewarding them with points when they succeed in those goals. Are there any plans in the future for branching out in that way? Also, is leaning (as in, leaning around corners or from cover) implemented?
Radiation Script 2 is going to have stats that you can build up over time, and the swep base is being modded for realism. Taking cover might be possible, but leaning would be hard since you need animations for it.
It's not too often that gunfights happen anyways, they're a once daily or so event that breaks out when two faction that don't like each other get in a fight.
What are the stats going to be? I hope they're not all fighting related.
They probably wont be, but at the top of my head I can't really name anything right now that wouldn't be fighting related, probably because I'm sleepy.
They should make something like cooking, and with it you can make food.

I'll probably start playing again, but it's pretty boring when there's very little people playing, and sometimes when I look at a specific person or my corpse, my fps drops faster then a hooker standing next to Jack The Ripper on Empire State Building.
I joined had fun for about 20 mins and waited for a friend to join. little later on he joins we start walking around found some kids asked them about jobs and weapons and my friend gets ban for being a troll. I ask him how he was a troll apparently you can't have Voltron in your name or pimp as title.
Too bad they stole 99% of the script.
Alright, i know theres a lot of problems with HGN's community, but its not all bad.
Many of the members may be hard asses, but when you get to know em, they're pretty relaxed.
And ofcourse everyones going to be pissed off when you take something from them because the economy is shit. im not going to sugar coat it, so the economy is terrible. I have a trader of my own. everyone that walks into my lovely bar, can't afford anything. and i hear this famous line every time: "How much for a box of ammo?". The only complaint i have is people spend all there money on ammo and weapons. And when they lose a thing like a PDA, they get all pissy because it costs about 1500 or 2000 depending on who sells it. And since the inventory is fixed, admins no longer give back out lost weapons. So my advice, if you RP'd it, and loot the body without " minge grabbing ", go ahead and just take it and don't give it back. i've lost personally 4 AK's, 8 vodkas, 3 boxes of ammo, 2 radios, and my L85 and haven't complained about it.
And the factions. People are saying about how you require $20 just to have a flag. This is FALSE. People who donate are either:
A) Looking to help the server
or
B) Donating just to get things like Vet. stalker and bloodsucker.
All you have to do to join a faction is simple. Just roleplay. When people begin to see your roleplay style, they'll learn to like you more and you will gain respect. And just apply on the forums. It usually takes me about 10 minutes to make an application depending on the app. Steam id, Characters name, backstory, and traits about your character isn't hard to get. I have a military character, HAD a monolith character and some of my experienced characters are in minor community made factions.
And about newcomers to the server. People mainly don't take kindly to them because people are easily frustrated with idiocy of some of the new people. I might take time out to help them, usually if im not doing something. And yes, people always ask for jobs. My advice, if you don't get a job is to do somewhat of bandits do. I did this with my military when the server got wiped and we lost all our shit and money. I'd take someone with me, I.E a private and we went around the outskirts of the base and robbed passing stalkers. I'd take about half there money and tell them to run. Instead of people raging about no jobs, just go to something else. Hang around a major factions base. sit around in a bar. Get a group of fellow stalkers and start gambling. I admit, my first time on the server was hard. I was beat and captured by military and mercilessly executed. But I came around.
All in all, the HGN in all is good. The script is great, minus a few things like the ammo (Just my opinion) and some retards in the server. I'd recommend the server to people who want to try and have fun with Serious roleplay. Remember guys, as we say in the server: "srp is srs bsns".
