Stolen work - Garry's Mod - Facepunch Forum

Is there something you can do when someone uploads something you made and doesn't even ask permission? Someone uploaded an old SWEP I took down and said it was the next version, but it is the same as mine with the same description! [editline]08:16PM[/editline] Anyone? Seriously someone stole my work and it pisses me off.

Nope. You cant do anything.

Just reupload and explain what happened in the description. It's happened to me twice now.

He almost has 5000 downloads for my SWEP. I wish I had his email, I would spam him. Oh yeah, please don't download it, but if you do, I am clearly in the info.txt with my name and email.

Have you tried emailing garry? I do it every time wire is up there, and it gets removed normally within a day.

I PM'ed Garry once about re-adding the report feature. He told me to use the contact button, never heard from him again

I emailed him yesterday, no response yet.
