In your defense it's brand new. Personally, I don't see the need for having players floating around or going on planets, but at least you should have the option now that this function is in.

Would you like something like this for your banner (made that a few minutes ago when I was bored)? I could also help you with some of the UI and coding if you want, but this gamemode seems like an awesome idea! And yeah, SetHull could be used - maybe you can make small sections of certain planets/stations and teleport the player to them and use SetHull (however you will probably need to use tiny player models)

It means you can change the size of the player "hull" however the model's collision remains unchanged. This would allow you to enter smaller places, meaning that you can have a small section of the map dedicated to areas that you can explore (like space stations) but this would be quite hard to map, model and code.

What about solar energy harvesters you can drop off in a tiny corner or on your hull, and collect some money while your driving around?
How are the ships fueled? I know they won't have actual fuel that gets depleted, but what about oil harvesters? All sorts of harvesters you can collect crap and sell?
What about little magnet bits that can fit on a Misc. Hull slot or something, that collect tiny peices of random wreckage as your up and about. Like, you can collect mining lazers, weapons, or just scrap metal?

wel, it could be a good idea, and to prevend the afk thing, let it need Coolant, so when u dont got it the solar panels overheat and thay break. easy and stil smart:D

APPARENTLY that cargo_drop entity seemed to not like networked ents so i remade it all and added a new system (just swapped the whole entity and then wrote a whole new one)

Like
LIGHT: Small, fast, low firepower -> Good for scouting, and shooting smalltime raiders
MEDIUM: Medium, Medium speed, medium firepower *Duh?* -> Good for everyday uses,Most common.
HEAVY: Expensive, Huge, High Defenses and firepower, Normally used as a flagship in a fleet. Big.
Different types of weapons?
Lasers, missiles, Gattlings, a mixture of those *EG: A gatlling laser guided Missile gun XD*
New ship idea:
Philipio - Light Freighter Class X
The Philipio is one of the most important trade ships ( Question: Can you trade with other players in space without a station or something else ?) and is used by many Miner Groups ( Go Mining with your Friends! :D). It has a huge cargo space and can transport lots of small things.
The Philipio has just light weapons, medium armor, but it is very fast. Useful at beginning to mining and earn money to buy better ships. Negativ aspect - the Philipio is a easy target for strong Lights and all above. We recommend to crew guardian npcs (if possible), freelancer or friends.

Sorry for the long response according to the gamemode progress.. It have been on standby because i was helping Matt with his own version of Medieval RP so im back again and now configuring a menu for the gamemode. No one is able to change the gold. only the server hoster can do that! just noting. Also for beta testers u might notice in the Data folder that there are some slight files inside the Spacetrader folder. You will see some status [b] They No longer affect game status and are hereby USELESS!!![/b]
Oh and fixed the horrible city buymenu. I changed into buttons instead of pressing keys on ur keyboard O_O didnt know you could run serverside console commands so yay! :D
