Gmod Educational Server, For all your learning needs... - Garry's Mod

This looks very cool, really helpful especially to the new GMod10 Users! I'll definitley be on sometime, and I look forward to it! :D :clint:

I've been working on a small client "help your self"/"teach yourself" lua script. Thanks to the guys at lua page!. If there are no teachers on the server or teachers are busy. You can simply type in the chat box. "/help" and a list of tutorials will come up. You pick what tutorial you want. Then it will go through it with you step by step. It's just to cause less waiting on the students. It will also be great when we have a full 24/7 server and no one is on during nights. The script is not on the server yet since it is in Alpha testing.

Server #2 gives me an error about there being a problem with a plug in on the page three times then crashes my gmod. Okay, the server is up and running again. The problem you had sonic should be gone now remmember to add the server to your favorites since server nr#2 has a static ip. 82.157.114.81:27015

I am not sure if this is the right place, if not please forgive me. my intelligence goes down by 52 in almost everypost i make without any visible reason so i am unable to make a new thread. what do buttons do? how do i use them?

It is probably because you made some mistakes that are not words that you have misspelled. Try using Capitals and dots.

The buttons are for rewarding people! Just hover the mouse over a button, and it will say something. Click on one to give that person one.

Hello! I surely join the education team if possible. I can teach basic in wire, like timer, sound, turret etc... I am fairly decent in making normal contraptions. Okay, Education Server #2 crashed, it was up for a stunnishing 14 hours Thank your Fellow Students Feldor and Mao. i will work on a different education map first, so solve the problem that the students can interupt our lessons

Hey I am wondering how to make NPCs not see you in Gmod. It annoys me when CPs attack me while I want them to attack some rebels.

From now to about 3 hours forward i will have an education server up. Just filter map name with "ed". Name is: "Education server!" You don't need any mods but there are these: Phoenix mod, wire mod and Life support system.

i mean in-game buttons. the red ones that say do not push

Then when you are done, enable the AI, and they will focus onto eachother, and not on you.

It's about time people took some time out and helped other's. Too many people on here and in other place's don't help. How can noob's learn if no one teaches them?

Well, first of all this isn't a "ask questions and we help" thread, this is a "hey, we exist and would like you to help us" thread. Second of all, because i'm feeling nice today, Buttons ingame activate whatever you set them to when you "use (e)" them. Say you set your button to activate 7, when you "use" the button, the numpad key 7 on your pad activates, it's a method to allow others to use your creations.
