Oh hai thar :) Alright, we now officially have some movement going again in the server and I decided it might be a good idea to post details here. Under new leadership (technically old-new leadership), we'll be buying another server, but only a 12-14 slot most likely, that will be designated our Coast RP server, and will be interconnected with our original server. Meaning: These servers will be in the same canon, all characters are the same and events that happen will affect both. Yes we know this is an experiment but it might be kind of fun to try. So in a few days time (read: possible a week or so :P) why don't you come try it out. We're hoping to implement an only IC way of getting to and from each server via some sort of maybe train-ticket type item, that upon useage in a certain part of the map (the trainstation in city18 for example) then connects you to the other server. Anyway, I had a hearty lol at some of the negative comments in this thread. Hostell is kicking off rather spectacularly in my opinion and has changed vastly since it's inception. It's wonderful here because we have the little things that count, the things that actually make it possible to immerse deeper and deeper into roleplay, effectively (:O fruit that gibs when you "eat" it nom nom nom nom nom i ruv orange peeces and many other examples) and while I realise these things are not incredibly hard to create/implement they are ridiculously effective in doing what they were designed to do. Make roleplay better for everyone. So yeah, come and join us on the server some time. When/if we get the new little coast server up and running I'll post the IP here in case anyone actually wants it. Btw, a note: Thank you so freakin' much for making CakeScript Nori. Holy Jesus, I don't know what we'd be doing without you. That thing is by far the easiest thing to work with ever, especially in relation to a gamemode (that's my personal opinion anyway). A lot of the bugs it had weren't hard to counteract, and because you made it such an easy gamemode to edit as the average Joe I am we've been able to influence our own style of roleplaying on the server. A big thanks again man, well done.

Sure, it's come a bit long, but it's been short, too. We will continue to grow, and grow, as I see it. We may even surpass the title you have given us.

Wasn't really talking about the script there, Noru :/. Anyway, I'd have to agree with all the good things said here, it is a good server, despite what schu's said about us. Sure we have a slow times, and sometimes a minge will come on (cmon, when has that NOT happened?) But we manage to create quite a few long and exciting RPs. Hell, we even RPd the burning of C18, right up to it's destruction!

Here's a guy who complains when his CakeScript "breaks" because he wants to change the name to SchuScript... after he only changed the folder it's in's name from CakeScriptG2 to SchuScript. Schu, there's more than one place you'd have to change the name of the gamemode mate, shit, even a ctrl+f CakeScriptG2 could do that for you. But trying to change a script when you've done what... changed the schema in it and added maybe 2 or 3 weapons? That's not your own script. That's a modification of a goddamn beautiful gamemode by someone who actually has some sort of talent with lua and spent a fair while coding the fucking gamemode. Changing the name because you want to boost your ego and/or e-peen is ridiculous. Plus for someone who says we never teach anybody how to roleplay or give them a chance etc. and we're ageist and racist (being annoyed at 9-11 year olds that pop into our server screaming HOW CAN I HAEZ ADMIN + COPP + GUNZ PL0X LOLOL" is not ageist, and if someone randomly starts yelling out NIGGER then that's not my fault), he seems to like admitting he bans people for saying the word lol in character. Now, I don't know the specifics, but hell, banning someone for saying one word out of context, whether it was intentional or not is fairly retarded. If that happens and it's just because they're either retarded/young/unfamiliar with the ways of roleplay and the difference between IC and OOC (because a few RP servers don't teach this) then you should be teaching THEM the difference. Not banning them. That teaches them nothing. Thanks for helping train a generation of good roleplayers bro! Appreciated eh! I think I also remember you DDoSing our server and trying to hack our FTP and/or Control Panel, but I can't remember 100% right... Anyway, I don't want to be seen as purely snarky, just slightly defensive of a server/community that I think has the potential for a fair bit more than what we're getting now. I can run a server correctly as opposed to hostile rp. Also, back to the name of cakescript, i know how to change the name of cakescript easily, my server is running a roleplay with a different name. But i usually keep it the same so people continue to use nori's cakescript, as it deserves to be popular. The correct reason for most of the bad spelling is because I'm on facepunch at 3 in the morning. Ever heard of a server control panel, and yeah, that IS what i use to manage my awesome servers.
