i'm hosting this on my server, my friend and I will be playing shortly! 99.236.5.188:27016 32 man server =P I also have the hypercube map ready too :D and yes, I just finished watching CUBE and cube Hypercube, now im about to watch Cube Zero :D EDITTED IP CHANGED not 27015, but it's actually 27016

It's not actually running the map or gamemode yet, I'm downloading it myself and once that's done I'll join and change it. Edit 3: Oh lordy this thing is completely messed up. Scoreboard is 100% broken and stays on the screen. I'll take a look at anything that might be conflicting. Also, it's saying this is base gamemode.

I'm having a lot of trouble getting this on to my server as well

Reading though various things about this gamemode, i came across one thing i think is point less and utter *INSERT VILE WORDS HERE*. Random Player Model Section, i think that is utter rubbish since your player model says something about you, lets take the combine and Metrocop/civil protection player models, they can say that your unsecured, shy and wanting to hid your face from the rest of reality. and a Doctor Isaac Kleiner one too, one it can say, "hey I'm new", "i forget to change my player model when i reinstalled Gmod" and lastly, "I'm a total idiot who can't bother to learn the simple basics of things such as wiremod, so i decide to go around ruining other peoples fun who can use it or anyone in my path, since i am jealous"

You should randomly assign a player to be Quentin. The guy who kills almost everyone at the end. Does the map follow the whole "Prime Factorization" thing? Because I can do that stuff in my head :v: I'll get on, what's the IP? Nevermind, give me like 10 minutes and I'll be on, hopefully. My mic is busted so get ready for me to most likely get killed a lot XD If the passages between the rooms DO work out to be prime factorizations, then I can help a lot :D

Can you make a command for the admins to give boots? like in console: c_giveboot <username> <amount> and the HUD doesnt work + mic wont work either, realy weird... in the list it shows also its version 1.11 and not 1.15

This is awesome. Played it and it rocked. The only thing is that one rooms gets stuck with triggering boots all the time.

Its taken me awhile since me computers slow but i finally managed to get it working! I LOVE IT! its one of the best game modes on garrys mod!

What I hate about the movies is that they never explained ANYTHING.

The thing's incredibly simple - go one floor down, look around, find the white room, wait for a moving cube to arrive, get out.

I love how people keep forgetting that you don't actually move from one cube to another and that you are actually teleporting. I always thought that was a great way to replace actually moving cubes.

Idea, even though it may be a not so good idea, assign specific characters to a player randomly Quentin - Starts out normal, later on tries to kill everyone, He's like the guy everyone fears in the cube. Holloway - Can heal players a little, not much. Gives more health to Quentin than anyone else. Other people may get 5, Quentin gets 7, etc. Leaven - Gets some personal belonging....starts with a boot maybe? Worth - Opposition to Quentin Rennes - Should be good at getting from room to room, maybe can hold more boots? something, Kazan - Should have some visual impairment, since it's hard to recreate an autistic person in source. can sometimes see the rooms with traps in them. Alderson - No real purpose, Just another person If you assign those to random players a tthe start of each round, then THAT would make things interesting, especially if you didn't know who was who.

I'm trying to put it on my server... but the server will not start up with the map nor the game mode. Or both. I installed it exactly as it said, extract it into garrysmod/garrysmod. FML D:

While your logic behind players' choice of playermodel is valid, you are incorrect about it being pointless in this gamemode. First, it's not just choosing a random model - it's choosing a random citizen model. This distinction is important and obvious if you've seen the films. In the films, all anyone has on them when put in the Cube is a blue jumpsuit and a pair of boots, and citizen models look very similar. (yes there are exceptions - like the girl gets to keep her glasses so she can read the cube cell numbers - also, don't go on about Hypercube, that one doesn't count on grounds that it was all bullshit :P )
