Isn't this just Hidden: Source for garrysmod? Even have the same radar etc.
This gamemode reminds me of 'The Hidden: Source' search it, its a good mod for hl2, almost exactly the same as this.

That's where the idea came from.. but the hidden source is crap now.. no point of even bringing it up.. it's kinda like Runescape.. new features don't always make it better...
Added this gamemode to my server but I have a Major problem: No one can see the chat.
You can see what people have been typing in console, but not in the chat box.
Anyone got a fix for this? D: I really want to play this awesome gamemode.
Hey, erm, i'm new here, but i play alot gmod.. and i love the stalker gamemod.
it says : "Not enough players to begin next round."
Can you make me a file that i can start the round if there only one or two?.. couse people dont want to wait to theres comeing more players on.. ?

This version is glitched. Someone please take the coding and make is sparkle again.
First off, this gamemode is great, but dieing from neglect.
Second, JI will NOT release there stalker gamemode to the public.
And finally, the issues.
Vary simple problems.
#1. Stalker Hands are visible, makeing it easy to spot the stalker and kill it.
#2. The custom chatbox that it uses will not show text, you can still see it in server logs though.
#3. Mic icon above the stalkers head. easy to spot the stalker... (i realize its hard coded into the source engine but jokerice already has tryed to change the texture of the icon so it appears invisible.)
Thats all i can find wrong with Stalker V2. PLEASE FIX IT!

lol anyways, I had fixed it a while ago but never released it. It's just a couple lines of text that broke the chat. There was another stalker on Garrysmod.org that had this version except with fixed hands.
Right there I was able to fix 2 of the problems. With the final one, I just say the stalker shouldn't be a dumb-ass and talk when hiding or something. I'll see what I can do but really it's a project people can do themselves.
Well then could you link the fixes? becuase i have been searching all over for a fixed version... please release yours.
Let this thread die. This is an old version of the gamemode. The latest version is on the fretta SVN. Go to a fretta server and you'll be able to play it there, or you can just download it from the facepunch server SVN.
I dont want the fretta version. imo fretta games suck. i want the real thing so i can upload it to a server and play it old school.
Just install stalker as your only gamemode and set "fretta_voting 0".

I dunno if it caused new problems are anything but I know that chat worked and hands didn't appear for me. I'm just gonna make a new page on facepunch and all of the good stuff.

For those of you who have played the fretta stalker: what does it need added in your opinion? Some people tell me they prefer the old stalker over the new one. Why?
Hey, I just tried this out by myself, just wanted to see what it was like, and when I start the game I have an Error weapon. its like the error was over my head and I'm holding it. Do I need css or something for this to work? I have tf2 and w/e comes with gmod and thats it :(

Servers are usually up, and they need some more players. Much more refined to I would bet, considering that's EXACTLY what this game is...
Is anyone going to make a fix for this, so that it works with gmod 13?
I play this with friends alot and we really enjoy doing so on a source engine that doesnt suck balls (aka what Hidden: Source is being run on).
Uh.... For some reason the stalker's material is purpleblack checkers. I need a material replacement (so I'm not cheating) so, I need to know what the stalker's material is (And just so nobody else tries to cheat by deleting it, privately message me the info please) thanks
