I would LOVE to do this. An island map and you sail around and raid other people stuff and steal their melons(Or if it was a gamemode, treasure) or just socialize. Pirate RP. I can Imagen that. I wish Water World didn't die as it would be really fun.
I remember that DanRatherman was that the map where when you spawned it said "Good luck out there Gordon"
About the economy system UK-Gaming have a few lua scripters working on an rp gamemode with a sort of economy system.

It requires wire and Phx.... I don't mind that, its just my wire SVN link broke (probably cos I havn't updated my SVN client in ages but still) I'm to lazy to go and download wire and Phx at the moment. But I will keep an eye on it.
Its based of Dark RP? Most classes become useless on a water map.

Who needs games with their animations and models, for fun I run around the house pretending random objects are enemies while shouting, "PEW PEW."
and that is why scripted rp is better.

Indeed, DarkRP isn't RP. However, it is a script that was originally intended to enhance RP by introducing the concept of buying guns.
It did revolutionize GMod RP, but probably not in the way it was intended to do. Instead of awesome it brought minges and RDM.

Doesn't next week mean the week after that? Anyway on topic, I do like most jobs in DarkRP sept CP and gun dealer. I think it should be scraped for trader/crafter that can only give out guns when scraps are given to them. That way people work for guns rather than just get the gun deal to spawn a shipment then them running off with your shipment. Just an Idea I don't expect it to be implemented

Yes, but the [B]SCRIPT[/B] encourages mingefesting by providing an unrealistic supply of weapons and illegal items and makes use of a very bad role selection system.

Very true, its kind of weird because last night me and my friend were talking about old school RP and thinking about creating a very light gamemode and start a server with it.

Wasn't me. A bunch of little kids have the same name as me. (thought of the name when i was 11, don't want to change it as no one will know me by it)
