So, can someone please explain to me what is happening?

I'd rather not, strongbad. I am so bored out of my mind right now. It's true, I have no life. I have played over 2.8k worth of time in gmod, in almost a year.
I cannot live without it. So I must say to you, I will Shut up.
One day, uberpwns came to say
Helpme1212, may be a true loser.
Wise, old, uberpwns has spoken.

In a days time, garry will notice this disaster
and will fix it, because he is such a C++ master.

Also this is terrible communication with Valve. Garry clearly had no idea of an up and coming update and couldn't prepare for it. So now he probably has to call them up, find out what they broke so he can fix it himself. Terrible communication going on here.
Ah, good, not the only one. Thank Science for that...

uh hu well seeing as how client.dll is in the gcfs of garrys mod and the gcfs were updated, using the older dll's could pose a working gmod. So unless you've tried it, don't say it doesn't work.
The amount of stupidity in this thread is making my head hurt. Can't you guys do something while GMod is down besides write bad poetry and slam at the people at Valve? Try reading a book, watching TV, sleeping, or you know, playing any other game.

Well, seeing as how everyone visiting this thread has the new GCFs, do you have any legitimate way to acquire such an object?
yes this happened to me too hope it gets fixed
I have the old version (before PHX) on my netbook. Can't be bothered to compare the files. Probably won't work anyways.
Offline mode. I guess not having internet defeats the purpose of a netbook...

hurrrrrr?
^ ABOVE POST IS TO A RICKROLL ^
I guess this is what you get for not playing the game in two weeks. Damn it, I was hoping to have some fun tonight.
This appears to be VALVe's fault - and although it's unfortunate for him, Garry's going to have to be the one to fix it. I hope the problem isn't too hard to fix, as the update seemed to change some pretty core things in the engine.
Y'know, I'm glad I stopped to make sure that it hadn't been reported before, cos I just spent about ten seconds doing this:

just so I could ask wtf was going on. Ah well. I still got to post it. :haw:
Using the old dlls won't work.

Actually, it might work as a sourcemod.
While you wait:

We should see how many garryspins it takes until Garry fixes it...
Its not Gabe's fault. It's the "good guys" at Valve.
