I got an question to everyone. When I start my server with severance then I get a error from MySQL database ([url]www.freesql.org[/url])

Error connecting: Can't connect to MySQL server on 'example.com' (10060) 

Anyone knows what that means? I know that I didn't miss-spell anything in
nexus/gamemode/core/config/sv_config.lua

Go into garrysmod/garrysmod/data/Nexus folder... There should be a mysql.cfg, open up and edit that.

I get the same problem. It usually means somethings wrong with sql but I have set it up correctly and I get stuck there to.

Yeah, all the SQL info is correct. I can connect to the same database with the same info on the old Nexus.

Well I checked all of the mounts but there were sh_info.lua everywhere but I still get this:

nexus/gamemode/core/libraries/sh_mount.lua:434: nexus - The emotes mount has no sh_info.lua.

Does anyone ever listen to a word I say? The reason you're getting that error is because it's trying to use a mount that no longer exists in the new Severance update (the emotes mount, because it is now included with nexus). When I say do a [b]full re-install[/b], it means do a [b]full re-install[/b]. That means [b]delete[/b] any old copies of Severance or nexus, and then re-install them using the new downloads.

That is why you're getting the errors. I really don't like it when people post errors that are there because of their own disobedience. Sorry but when there's twenty people moaning about errors which are there because they didn't listen to what I said, it gets repetetive and annoying.

when i take it from the gamemode it looks like this

So I am having some trouble getting severance to work after this update. What I have done so far: Deleted everything old including but not limited to: All Nexus 2 stuff including data folder, deleted all old severance stuff including content, removed Orion, dropped the entire database and recreated it using the supplied .sql file, updated sql info.

What happens is I can connect an initial time fine, but when I try and reconnect the entire server crashes at the data streaming. I can then empty the database and connect again fine, but if I then reconnect it crashes. It goes on and on like that, IE if there is data in the DB then it crashes, if not then it doesn't.

If I misread your directions feel free to yell at me.
