I like the the gamemode. Hell I'm making the new map. Anyways, I won't praise the community, it's simply put a great community with a mature leader who makes good choices. Some of the more mature players hang out in this community, so if that's what you are in search of, please visit the Ventrilo server and ask anything you want.
Also that redemption map looks nice.
I downloaded all the packs, and I sitll had to download a lot of stuff... It's pretty slow to download..

Okay I got bored waiting hours off of the only working mirror to download the content pack. Include all of the maps in the content pack so we don't use up all the free slots on the decent mirror.

The map currently on the server was made and uploaded 2 days ago, a futher update is coming soon, we are sorry about the waiting times, but it's it a complete overhaul of gmod and half life, everything is custom.
The map has lots of error signs, and missing textures, do I need Episode Two for this ?

Im sorry, but yes you do, episode 2 is fairly cheap these days, and is worth buying, it is used due to the sheer number of great textures and foilage.
Does the server has NPCs? I mean stalker is about killing monsters and stuff like that, right?

We use several textures from the offical game in the map, with permission from GSC. and yes there are npc's like the barkeep which you can buy and sell stuff to. Players are generally the mutants in the server, after all, you cannot roleplay with a npc.

But anyway i expected abit more from the map. It's basically just a wery rude copy of the bar surrounded by a forest. Where did Wild Territory and the road to the Military Warehouses dissapeared - is a mystery covered in shadows

Yes, GSC are a very nice company, unlike EA and other big companies, GSC actually see the fun side of it and don't care much, as long as they take credit for their work, fact, we are promoting their actual game, and pretty much everyone who plays on our server, buys a copy of S.T.A.L.K.E.R So, It's a win win situation for them.

The current map will have sectors, the current version of the map is just one sector, theres going to be around 8, by the end of it, it's going to be around the size of evocity 2.
Oh, so it's just beta ? I thought it's final. Can i make one of those sectors ? I'm not a bad mapper

It's true, i actually have 2 copies of S.T.A.L.K.E.R, Retail and Steam (it was weekend deal)

Im glad you like it, and yes, sadly we don't have a npc to generate missions and all missions are generated by players.. a trader cannot be on all the time you know :P

That's becuase it's not entirely passive, after all S.T.A.L.K.E.R is essentially a wild, corrupt world where anything can happen.
