Xero: WarRage sent me the demo so I could record and edit it. It works fine, but I'll probably have to use freecam to make it look better.

But can I use it with demos recorded without SourceTV (as in, install it after the demo has been recorded)?

Take as much time as you need, I would help but I have little knowledge of editing :S
Also WarRage/Tamiya, I can probably wire up a system that shows which player presses the buzzer first, it'll be far more accurate than using the human eye and emitters.

Well I've been wiring for a bit now. Current E2 chip does the following:
Has three sets of controls to control players score (Already existed)
Three Screens to output each score (Already existed)
Buzzers now play on button press (New!)
The chip now figures out the order of who pressed their buzzers, no more tough decisions (New!)
Large output screen that updates the leaderboard live, shows First, Second and Third (New!)
Player names included, can be set by chat commands (New!)

I'm currently rendering and uploading a quick test/preview of the show, primarily to see if WarRage is okay with the style and editing. But I suppose it wouldn't hurt to let everyone see it too. <3

Anyway Working on some features of the show
Oh, I went into offline mode while recording so the "Friend is now online" messages didn't keep getting in the way.
I've found that FRAPS is a shitload better than Source's movie recorder for stuff like this, because you can control the camera during a shot, it doesn't lag loads and it's easier to reset if you do something wrong.
Unfortunately, the only HUD element I can't get rid of is the little box that pops up telling you who a prop belongs to when you look at it. :/

YOU NEED PHX 3 AND WIRE. well you dont really need but if you want to watch the show that is specatate the show normaly you will have to get this stuff.

Screenshots don't show it but Player1 Player2 and Player3 can all be changed to whatever you want (Players names in this cast).
Also needs more video :P I was excited to see myself but then it cuts out just before I speak XD
Oh and the spectator lift is still as fatal as ever.

Attention Gmod Fans!
We have decided upon how we will produce the show from now on. There will be two ways to watch the show:
[b]1)[/b] Come to the live shows at the server on [B]195.90.98.16:27015[/B] and watch the action as it unfolds...
[b]OR[/b]
[b]2)[/b] Download and watch the in-game demo I will post shortly after each show has finished. When the show is on, I will stand in the spectator area (and have a name like DO NOT DISTRUB or something) and record the show to a .dem file, moving to get the best view of the challenges when necessary. Once the show is over, I will upload this demo file (it will be about 55MB zipped) for you to download. Once downloaded extract the .dem file to "steam/steamapps/username/garrysmod/garrysmod". To load it in the game, load Gmod, open the console and type in "playdemo show[number]" (the [number] part will be whatever number show it is, this weekend's will be show2).
If you want, you can use freelook while watching the demo. Hit Shift+F2 while the demo is playing to bring up the demo menu, and click the Drive button. Then click the x to close the window. Drive works just like noclip but you need to hold down the left mouse button to move.
Of course, we would prefer it if you came to the server to watch the live show. The next show begins at [b]6PM GMT[/b] on [b]SUNDAY 24th JANUARY[/b].
Is there any free spaces. I have a mic, if the jokes funny i will laugh. I'm 13 but not like eveyone juges a 13 to be like in a game ( if you play empires you should know me by now :L ) but if u dont believe me ask one of them who do play, even if its spectator i dont mind

It would be nice if spectators stayed in the spectator area, but you don't have to I guess. You get the best view from there, though.
We'd only forcibly move you back to the spectator area if you were getting in the way of the show (like jumping on the host or something).

I can try to hear you in-game or so the only reason the 14 limit is the kids that annoy me with high pitced voices so yeah Have a high - pitched voice = no no
