That's essentially what I'm saying- one at all negative, critical or constructive comment can be taken as something entirely different and extremely personally, and I think it might be able to get one banned.

You know what, I usually try and be nice and err on the side of caution, but in this post I'm not going to bother because I'm fed up of seeing the same old comments from people who seem to think that being nasty is a GOOD thing and a necessity.
If people were courteous, this rule wouldn't be needed in the first place. Frankly, if you don't like the comment rules then just don't post. The comment system has only been in place 6 months, and I don't think a rule which asks people to be nice is a particulary bad rule. It tells people to do which they should be fucking doing in the first place instead of comments such as "this fucking sucks".
Any sensible reasonable person knows that this is a GOOD thing. I personally believe a permanent ban is too strong, but if it forces people to be nice then so be it.
Now stop being fucking whiny babies and deal with it, because we all know complaining won't help at all.
I hope this change stays.

It consoles little children with praise about a Kill Breen save, and kids don't take constructive criticism very well, so they ignore it. In turn, the delightful remarks about the beautiful Kill Breen save with 500 combine elites incites the creator to make a megaton of Kill Breen saves and kill breen backgrounds that no one will like. This is the reason the awesome people of Gmod are fading away.

There's nothing polite to say about a bunch of enemy NPCs spawned surrounding Dr. Breen, a background featuring a furry character, or a jeep with hoverballs attached.
Maybe they should make it so you can turn off comments for uploads- then again that's denying anyone to speak out against the [i]legitimate[/i] crap, but I guess it might work.
