I would pay 30 bucks if it was brought onto the newest version of the Source engine, and if EVERYTHING worked in terms of HL campaigns. As far as I know, everything is backwards compatible, so if Garry's Mod was on the L4D2 engine, you could use pretty much any map or model you wanted to with no issues.
I'd probably throw up 50$ for it, but that's after playing the game for a few years. I've realized what it's capable of and the 3rd party content keeps coming. If you said 50$ three years ago though, I'd say no.

I'de pay as much as every other game cost coming out right now. IT simply is the best game i've ever played in it's own unique way. The possibilities are endless.I have played around with the source engine since hl2 was released, then progressed to hl2dm, where i learned scripting with entities, then got to garrys' mod and now it's my most played game ever, much more playability than other games you'de see on the market.

I'd say $80. Seeing as I've spent 590 hours on it since steam started logging hours. I've never even come close to touching how long I've wasted my life on garry's mod with any other game.
$50, I've spent more time in Gmod than all other games I own, which is roughly $300.
