What is so special about this? People die. Usually they're practically already dead, not utterly bored and trying to have some fun by playing games around, but let's say then this story, though the chances being astronomical, is true. What about it? Gmod is just another tool to kill boredom. If someone dies watching TV, are you going to give that the seat of honor in his death as well?

I'm not trying to disrespect his death here, but rather the inflated fact that he was playing a video game when he died which has absolutely no importance at all. So as redundantly proven again we have a pointless thread, which doesn't really need constant reviving.

Regardless of wether this is fake or not, it's still a very touching story. It's actually made me laugh how angry some people are getting over other people believing this story. It kinda shows how immature those people are. Anyway, this made me feel sad even though it was heartwarming.

Oh, and to the above poster. It's not as if loads goes on in the gmod discussion section like it does with GD, so why not keep this thread alive? It's not as if it's getting in the way. Plus, it's of a better standared than most other gmod discussion threads.

You imagine lying in Hospital, dying of an infection and being sad and miserable, you want something to cheer you up. I visited people in hospital and they are supplied with video games, movies on demand and cable but as long as it puts a smile on his/her face, it doesn't matter.

Not to speak of the failing body, because as always, we put the brains into jars with robotic hands so that we could still enjoy that last dose of gmod before we die.

Yeah but I mean, you know you have the possibility of dying and that's fucking scary, you need to keep strong and fight but obviously the kid needed some sort of entertainment to lighten the mood.
