This is impossible - it would require, well thats it.
Garry's mod would take up a ton more than 2 disks worth. It would be like 5 disks. It will never happen, and it would be extremely difficult to do with a console controller.

Sure, it can be done. That's why the Orange box is on the 360/PS3. But Valve didn't do it, EA converted it. You can convert it, but it would be impossible to play.
Too many buttons. Try and compile a mod onto the xbox via XNA creators club.
See how hard it is to code, and set up the controls.

There is an easy way for the idiots to realize this wont work.
Open Gmod
Download/install/configure xpadder
try to map the buttons to a ps3 or xbox360 controller
The best ive gotten was having to go through all the weapons to get to the one i want(setting a button to scroll down, another up). I set Buttons to fire, etc. i do on occasion break out the controller to play around, but as soon as you try to use the spawn menu, or build something, its just a crap fest using the joystick to control the mouse(because it is used to aim) And thats without considering the numpad for operation various fun things.
