I love DarkRP keeps the server I play in amazingly smooth. We have worked all things out and runs a great rp... DarkRP is not that bad...
I will admit right here that there are indeed SOME SERVERS, very small percentage, possibly a rough 5%, that run dark rp and are enjoyable.
I still think that scripted rp is the worst rp.
DarkRP; created by a bunch of 12 year olds who don't take the time to stop fapping to create a actual RP based community. DarkRP is a bunch of guys regected by CS:S, who move to Garry's Mod to minge. And if you don't manage to follow in the DMers footsteps of DMing you are called a crappy RPer. I'd rather vomit than play on Dark RP servers. Dark RP is a shitty gamemode that basically gives you a gun.
its like a normal gmod server with addons disabled and half of the tools disabled. and on top of that it is about half of the servers of the game gmod.

Now your all whining presently about how Gmod RP is better then Dark RP or vise versa, so let me crack down on shit the easiest way possible. All of you think, that is right big word think that RP has to be something on the line of pretending to be someone who you are not cause your too fucking lazy or fat to get a life. You are all constantly bitching for a new gamemode that makes more sense then the ancestor and in most cases Gmod RP is the bastard child of Dark RP who's trying to fall off the tree but somehow managed to fall into a nuclear waste refinery and instead of just being a bastard it's now a mutated fuck up. Then you got Dark RP the old whip snapping father who is bias criticized for being a mingebag headquarters for some sort of master race of intelligent mingebag super crashers. So in just the basic knowledge it's not pretty far edge too say Gmod RP is just a fuck up of the same level as Dark RP, considering each one still has twelve year old idiots commanding the operation or that's pretty much your servers administration.
If anything I'm mostly ranting how you retards fail to find the knowledge to realize your just playing the same damn story with more grinder salad.
Now back on topic, whats with the sterotypes on both rp's? If I remember correctly Slob(Owner of both PB and Gmod Rp) once was going to command a military attack on all RP but backed down cause he didn't want to get involved with Gmod Soldiers or Darkland. Now look at him making his own rp, kind of irony huh? As far as Dark RP goes it's just people taking the original gamemode of messful contraption and fucking it in the ass so hard till it bleeds out another shitty version which is pretty common for the gaming industry, I like to call it "Nintendo Trail" cause no matter what happens you always have the same thing just shiner colors,shiner weapons,and shiner everything.

FPtje still prop kills, he even did it few days ago on a popular DarkRP server and then got perma banned.
He random DeathMatches as well. The server it happened on was SlackerGaming.

I'm very new to Gmod and RP, and I fucking hate DarkRP. It sucks, newbs and minges everywhere, everyone gets into a DM (trust me, someone kills you over and over again, you WILL kill them and say it was "fair"), and the admins usually just act like they are God himself...

I don't have much DarKRP experience, but here is my story of a single game. I join, make friends with someone trying to RP. Well, we started a shop and it rocked, man DarKRP rocked. Then some idiot ran into our store yelling "I ROB U NAO!!1!" and shot us up. Man, DarkRP sure rocks now, doesn't it?
I love DarkRP, but minges destroy it. We can't do anything. Admin is never on. Minges started joining DarkRP. They were joining Sandbox and now they are destroying DarkRP.
Minges say "Givez meh allr ur moneyhs!" And they shoot you. They find chances to RDM. 4 Times happened to me.
Pathetic ehh??? I hate minges. We can't RP.
Minges use OOC for IC because they see that people use OOC. If you tell them to stop, they say: "Stfu".
Minges choose Assasin or Body Guard Job because of weapons. They RDM and don't obay NLR. If they are cops, they attack you. If you kill them, they will warrant you or come back to kill you. They arrest for being Gang and Drug Dealer.
Random arrest is their favourite. If they see drugs in the road they arrest the only Drug Dealer. "Why am I arrested?" The player says. "I saw Drugs in the road" the minge says. DarkRP rules say that noone knows the other's job and they people must ask for what does the other person sells. "You must search it first" the player says in OOC". "You are the only drug dealer!" The minge says and hits the player with the stunstick. "Stfu noob!" The minge says and CP chief does nothing (another minge).
DarkRP is not RP anymore. It's RDM area.
I have found one half decent DarkRP server, that usually ran on Evocity. It was pretty good, people could actually RP and the best thing about it was that crime is not automatically regarded as mingery. On most RP servers as soon as you steal/break something everyone is calling you a minge and the admins are threatening to permaban you, but as everyone knows, crime is part of life, and therefore can be in RP.
I once started up a gang as the mobboss, but not every one was mafia (the undercover cop turned triple agent after I rumbled him, and we had a medic who was healing us for free). We went around stealing cars etc, and selling them on. ( an admin in our gang unowned the car after we stole it, just like a real gang would remove number plates/engine number etc). The cops where RPing properly and almost tracked us down to our secret base, but thanks to some nifty driving we lost them, only to be quadruple crossed by the undercover cop who got paid $10,000 by the chief of police. In this we ignored the NLR, treating everything as one continous life, and death was just a serious injury, and most people got a jail sentence of 10 mins for their crimes, and we accepted this, as we were actually Rping properly.
This proves that it is not DarkRp that is rubbish, it is the players and admins, who if dont Rp properly can wreck a perfectly good gamemode.
And as a footnote, not all 12 year olds are minges, i have a friend around that age who is a good Roleplayer. I do not understand why every one is lways having a go at -12Yr olds, we were all that age once.

Darkrps just for quick fun, all the rest are for the people who have no real friends or life and need to pretend on a game.
Some people give me the nickname 'Patton' or 'TB with a Shotgun' cause when ever I have admin in Dark Rp and people begin to DM I strip out the whole server (assep for me and other admins) and make them do 100 push ups non stop. Those that leave you take their IP and ban them. Those who stay but rdm right after, 1 hour ban. Those who do it and don't rdm or complain afterward you allow them to stay.
Simple philosophy that I'm creating here is, if they want metal and action give em' what they want assep for a metal boot up the ass and the action of a cramped fingure.

Gmod runs the stereotype of younger then me well your a minge. The matter behind me is beating a minge you need to actually be a minge. If they modded it like kuromeku's hl2rp or RLRP the gamemode would be amazing.
My clan has a DarkRP server, and we try and keep it RP but its really impossible. People start to RP, but eventually it gets boring as shit. Then someone comes in and decides to be a gun dealer, and stockpile guns and make a complex shop because there is nothing better to do. All the mob boss does is kill and steal, and the gangsters follow. Then someone buys a sniper and sets their job to Hitman, killing everyone because he was "paid to". Then people prop kill, prop surf, and DM because DarkRP gets super boring. Then an admin comes, bans all the minges and everyone leaves cause there is nobody left to RP with, server dies out.
That is what happens in DarkRP servers.
Why not ally with that you can't win? Make a DM build RP.
I believe Dark Rp needs passive minigames for jobs like in Fable.

I find that its even more boring on all these "proper" rp gamemodes, because at least the crime can be exciting in darkrp.
How to play DarkRP:
Buy a drug lab/moneyprinter or be AFK to get some money, then buy a gun and deathmatch everyone on the server.
If guns will be disabled there would be no point of getting money therefore no point of playing DarkRP. This shows that DarkRP is a MingeBag DeathMatch gamemode.

One of my worst DarkRP experiences ever today. On madbobby's "serous rp" server, me and 2 friends were cops and tried to sort out all the crime. But these 2 particular Hobos kept annoying this Gun dealer. We told him to hold tight , and we'd sort it out. but no. He Proclaims "i will kill all hobos on sight" and kills them. I went to arrest him, but the admin comes on and says do not use arrest stick or wanted. So i do nothing. Then, when i was tailing the hobos the gundealer pops out of nowhere and shoots one, then opens fire on me, so I double tap him.
Kicked : "Asshole"
previously, the admin had me demoted so his friend could be Chief of Police, the admin banned one of my friends for fighting back after THE gundealer Randomly attacked him, and kicked the other because he was part of our "Clan". Lastly, They think that DCI (Detective Chief Inspector) Gene Hunt ( My Cop RP name) is not a suitable RP name for a Cop! ( Its Minus the Brackets : DCI gene Hunt)
