Trust me, it won't be out for a while :/, sorry to crush yer hopes, but gamemodes this complicated take a while...
Question.
Whilst trying to host a server with this gamemode, the first time i launched it it was working fine.
The second time i opened it, as soon as you enter the server, when the "Character create menu" apears and you click on the "select model" button, an extreamly small window apears in the top left of the screen and wont alow you to spawn due to not being able to select a model.
Any idea's, Thoughts, Fixes would be greatly appreciated.
Hook overload, rejoin the server. It happens, that's all it takes to fix it. Happens when five or more players join together and access it, it overloads the script with hook calls and the thing breaks clientside, just rejoin the server to restart it.

Laaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaame, but understandable. I'll have to come check it out sometimes -when- Theo is up and running on it. Got a release date? Or an estimation of a release date?

It's up and running on it already and has been for about a week now. I know its a bit lame but I had a few friends in need. This doesn't mean that Theo will never be released, old versions may full well be released in the future, but that is to be seen. The ironic part about it is that Theo is now being developed where CakeScript was also originally developed (well the same community leaders anyhow).

It's not that lame, it's finally out there for people to play with so that's a positive. I'll definitely jump on the RR server on the weekend to test it out. So are you continuing work on Theo yes? Updating it etc. etc.? Or got some other plans for your career?

I know he updates like a mad-man, I was just wondering if right now the script was in it's final stages or still a beta or what not. Obviously he'll continue working on it where applicable but I was just wondering what state it was in.
I was on server, It's kind of weird how you have to buy a Apartment Entrance just to get a door. Couldn't we just buy a door, because buying a entrance gives us control over all the apartment doors.

I can see how this can be a problem for roleplay, a webul needs his secret hideout room in an apartment.
I'm completely redoing the door system right now.
make a system that lets the owner of the server link up doors on each building by looking at a door and typing a conosle command such as "rp_adddoor group" were group is the name of the building so yuo dont get one big house, then save door info into the data folder.
would be helpfull if you had some kind of buy/or Rent system also.

You can buy doors separate, and as a property. Theres a new way for admins to set doors in-game, making changes super easy.

So sort of like how CakeScriptG2 was done? With the adddoorgroup thing? So that only rebels can open some doors and only CPs can open others etc.?
If that's the case, why was it ever changed? In my opinion the only thing Nori needed to or still needs to fix about the doors (not sure if it's still an issue) is the fact that when someone owns a door, locks a door, then leaves the server, the door remains locked and unpurchasable. That's the only issue I'd ever seen with the door thing, and maybe adding the ability for people to co-own doors wouldn't be a bad idea either, so if two people lived together or whatever.
I'd like a sort of "you need this item to open this door" thing, like a keycard system. Dunno if it's entirely possible, but it'd add a form of security for the CPs if they need to lockdown a location and not use RP locks.
That'd be quite epic.

kuroScript had like combine locks on doors, it was pretty nice.
Yeah but...a system like that in CakeScript would be nice, since I think you need SQL for Kuro, don't you?

No, I'm starting my own community, however what I do with Theo in terms of other communities using it or public releases has yet to be decided.

How bout we support the gmod community and release it instead of getting you gamemode stolen and released without your will.
