Why is Father Grigori amongst Animals in the NPC menu?

Because Father Grigori IS a fucking animal!
Metrocops are humans which have been captured by the Combine and turned into cyborgs. The actual Combine soldiers are aliens.
/CPargument
CP's are humans who join the Civil Protection because of benefits such as: Better food, a place to stay, not being treated like shit by other CP's.
A little bit of proof:
Barney is able to go undercover as a human.
If they were altered in any way, why would they need breaks? Barney, in Red Letter Day is in Kleiner's lab on a break.
The CP who tells you to "Pick up that can" laughs after you put it in the trash.
And at whoever said that Grigori can't be killed in Ravenholm, it's really easy to do it at the gate where you leave him.
He has that animalistic spirit burning inside of him.
Comic effect
because he is a PARTY animal

... I always threw the can at the CP so i didn't know he laughed.
It's just a joke of Garry.
Grigori is a drunken monkey. :crying:
Barney was so naughty when he was working undercover! He kept violating the CPs! He caused CP Violation!
Hey, did anyone notice, in Ep1, that barney says something about CP's having 2nd thoughts about defending C17? It's like, the FIRST time I see a CP in Episode 1 since near the start of HL2, (Say HL2 is divided into 6, I see CP's during only the 1/6, the 5/6 left, is mostly Alienic combine, I don't see another CP till the END of Episode 1 (Episode 1 is SHIT as hell, It's too short :())

Metrocops are normal humans that are in the combine police, for food and home, and they are rigid because overwatch would execute anyone who doesn't obey orders. And soldiers are modified humans, like stalkers, and the advisors are the real aliens.
What?
No
CPs - Humans
Soldiers - Modified Humans
Prison Guards - Well, above one
Soldier Elites - Aliens that have little human left, also machine
Advisors - HOLY FUCK FLYING ALIEN OH MY FUCKING GOD!
Because he's a sly dog with the ladies, he is.
More complete list:
CP: Unchanged humans that join CP for food. The reason they have a strange voice is because of the distorter they use to scare victims.
(Prison) Soldiers: Modified and brainwashed humans who were Metrocops that decided/were decided to be "promoted".
Elite Soldiers: Possibly the final rank, humans that have been brainwashed and modified so much they are barely human.
Stalkers: Rebels who have been captured, incredibly modified, and had their higher brain functions removed, and are used as slaves. Also, they make wheezing sounds.
Striders/Hunters: May be modified aliens, or VERY modified humans.
Advisors: The aliens that presumably started the Combine.

He was a drummer for the band The Animals.

Lol Strider/hunter.
They are bio-mechanics.I don't think they have something human, think about it.Maybe they are past Xen creatures that have been modified for special combat purpose?Who knows? What is sure is that they are not humans.
Why bio? they do have blood and dog rip of a brain from on in ep 2 (sorry for spoiler the ones who doesn't own ep2)
why Mechanics.By the look of the penis or under, you can see they got some metals inside them.
That is what I meant by modified aliens.
Even though this is a 2 month old thread or something.
Striders - Aliens which have been modified with mechanical parts
Hunters - Robots
Gunships , Carreir ships - Aliens which have been modified.
Those weird things you see walking across the metal bridge in the citadel when you are riding in the holding pod. - I don't know.

I don't think Hunters are pure robot, they bleed.
Ya hunter must be a cyborg
lol just kidding.
but maybe it's another alien!
who know, Xen is a goddamn weird place.
Here settles the combine creatures problem. I used Wikipedia to do this.
Synths are creatures that, over a course of imposed evolution and adaptation by the Combine, have come to fit a particular niche in the Combine military. Once organic creatures that spread across different worlds, they were enslaved and assimilated into the Combine to become the backbone of their military. The most prominent Synths in Half-Life 2 are Striders, three-legged, gargantuan aliens with powerful pulse guns mounted as the head and a high powered energy cannon on their underbelly. These are the Combine equivalent of an armored heavy tank. Their "little brothers", the Hunters are encountered in Episode Two, are like Striders, only much smaller and use less devastating weaponry.
Various types of Synth have been brought over to Earth by the Combine, but other types of Synth are likely to exist. The total number of different Synths is unknown. It is likely that Synths were the primary forces used by the Combine during the Seven Hour War, as the human-derived Combine units, as well as technology such as hunter-choppers and APCs, would have only started appearing after the Combine's rule on Earth had been established.
Includes:
Dropship
Gunship
Strider
Combine Pod
Hunter
Crab Synth (Not seen in combat yet) <- Things you see in the carrier pod ride
Mortar Synth (Not seen in combat yet) <- Things you see in the carrier pod ride
EDIT: Metro Police are really just human citizens, but with their memory erased and told to protect the city.
Have you seen Grigori at parties?

Hahahaha
Edit:
I don't know... he always struck me as someone who would sit on a park bench all day, feeding pigeons.
and then shoot them

I don't agree with that because if they were, then Barney would not be in the Resistance.
But yes, the Synths are cyborgs basically.
Stider: In Episode 2, when DOG kills the Strider, he pulls out the Strider's brain.
Hunter: Hunters bleed.
Gunship: It has two giant eyes behind it's pulse gun and two on its sides. I'm not sure if these are eyes though. Also it has fins.
Also, all Synths feel pain. Except the Dropship which is invincible.

Also I find it amazing how even six years after its release, people still manage to argue the finer points of the HL2 mythos.
Of course Grigori is an animal, do you see how he slaughters zombies?
