I've seen people who registered before me (2008) with a STEAM_0:1 (I have STEAM_0:0). Am I missing something, or is that just weird?
if you're a :1 you're oldschool. it's steam server 1, 0 is the new one
[editline]25th December 2010[/editline]

Updated to accept STEAM_<0 to 5>:<0 or 1>:<any number>
Won't do any lookups, always timing out.

I can't help you without the error message, I can lookup things fine.
Seems to be gone now anyway
Small update:
Fixed problem viewing Uncreated profiles.
Fixed some issues displaying results.
Added a timer to disable/enable for anti-spam protection.
Added a legit error logger and fixed major bugs with time outs.
Fixed a javascript issue where it would fail, but secretly the input would be blank which caused the problems in the first place, fucking java.
Small update:
Fixed some more minor issues with loading the page.
Will force a reload of page if script is really fucking around.
Fixed some syntax and cleaned up script a bit.
www.gmodsvns.net doesn't resolve for me.

Looks like your nameservers are retardedly slow for some reason.
Happens every week for his host.
Or I can just go to www.steamcalculator.com and see most of that (all the usefull information) and see how much the person's account is worth at the same time.
[img_thumb]http://dl.dropbox.com/u/5040930/fjas/steamid.PNG[/img_thumb]

4 digits are rare but not too rare
And right under Flame is me if you look :)
Fixed infinite fucking loop when you enter a space or non-alphabetic characters and numbers.
I haven't had a checker to check if it had any of these, once I get an error, it'll try again after a second and then it kept looping.
So now thats fixed, also You can only enter CustomID's CommunityID's and SteamID's not steam aliases names or usernames.
Thanks!
ALSO: DNS Crashed, it came up so it'll be working by now.

You completely broke the site, nothing works now.
Update fix:
Version: 0.7.4
Fixed ability to re-enter after entering an invalid input.
Fixed ability to use Steam ID's again.
I added a new regex which is meant to make sure its valid, I forgot to make sure it checks for _'s and :'s.
Sorry about that!!!
Bump, anyone like ? suggestions ?
Anyone have suggestions or bug reports?

Also that steam calculator isn't all that good, it doesn't calculate the games properly, like how much you actually got the game for, discounted etc.

It can't do that, and is not even the purpose of the tool, the purpose of the tool is to determine the account WORTH, which is not the same as what you paid for the games on the account.

this has what to do with this? gtfo.
When I need someones id I use http://steamlookup.com/
A standalone version would be nice. Like....
www.whatever.com/whatever/?url=http://steamcommunity.com/id/thebananalord
it would return my SteamID or something (maybe add &return=steamid or whatever) on a blank page. Something like www.whatismyip.org
This is really useful... bookmarking
unique id for gmod?
I think it's CRC("gm_*steamid*_gm")
not sure what type of CRC gmod uses though
