I saw somebody make a meatspin parody on GMod. I wanted to make penises in video games so I bought it finally back in '08 :)
Well back in 2009 When I was bored from playing TF2
A friend told me about GMOD 9
Later that same day I downloaded GMOD 9 and fell in love with it
I posed ragdolls and spawned so many Combine NPC'S
Then When I saw that GMOD 10 existed I bought it a week later
And with that I deleted GMOD 9 and kept GMOD 10
Garry's Mod 9 lost most of it's servers and players.

This and the The Gmod Idiot Box and the rest of the Gmod/TF2 videos made me want it bad!
War of the servers.
Went to a friends house, and he was playing V7. This was before I had hl2 or even had a computer capable of running hl2. (probably 2004-2005)
Second thing I did after purchasing and playing HL2 months later, was download garrysmod v8.
If any one remember good old Tech TV. I was watching one of there tech shows and they mentioned Gmod V3 and i was like whoa that game looks cool. So I've been playing since V3, and wow has this game advanced! If you don't believe me here is a comic from v7 http://rspkclan.tripod.com
Gmod 9
How fun it was. :D
Had Gmod 7, then downloaded Gmod 8 when it came out, then 9. 9 was fun because it started becoming more popular. When Gmod 10 came out, I was a bit reluctant to buy it because I didn't want to spend the money. After a few months with little to no Gmod 9 support, and the videos showcasing the new features (The hoverballs blew my mind :p). I decided to eventually buy it.

Gmod's first release was somewhere around the end of 2004... As Half-life 2 got released in november...
V7? Yeh right..
I want to buy Gmod because of all the videos and stuff made with it :frown:.
:crying:
Played Gmod since V7a, got Gmod 10 a year or so after it was released. Is cool.

I would have never known about valve's games if it wasn't for these Gmod videos on youtube
I stumbled upon some video demonstrating fireworks in it. I saw the title "Gmod: fireworks" and thought "what is this GMod?" and googled it. I learned more about it (and found facepunch!) and bought it because it seemed like a good 3D sandbox game and those are hard to come by.
The 6 USD discount. I was like "OMG BUY NOW".
Got it as a gift yesterday. =D
Everyone had so I got it.
Been playing since it was first released, why not continue with 10.
Gmod videos with stupid faceposes and flailing arms on youtube.
I was part of another forum called RHQ (Roblox HQ, has little to dow it the game, because half the Roblox Discusion is rants) and alot of people played Garrysmod, upload videos, and I watched them. Since I was into the whole "Open sandbox world where you can build crap" it seemed interesting to me since I played Roblox (Not anymore, game is shit).
So then I looked into my wallet, finding 10$, so my mom would buy me Garrysmod.
Oh, good times
Well I originally saw one of the versions of gmod in pc gamer or something...so when I heard my friend got HL2 I insisted we try it out. I liked it and when I finally got a gaming PC the first thing I did was get HL2 and gmod9. Then when 10 came out all the new stuff seemed worth it (not to mention gmod 9 was t become unsupported by the community...and what can I say? I love you fuckers)
Tried Gmod9 4 years ago, i loved it. Then 10 got released but i didn't have any money to buy it from Steam, but one year later my big brother was really friendly and bought it for me.
reading so many comics made in GMod, i wanted to make my own...
I played the last free release version of Garrys mod, and played that for a long time.
Gmod 10 was then release, I had been up all night to buy it at first second!
And then Garry managed to break the steam servers with his indie game mod, I was surprised.
