I still don't know how to install it!

Both the gcraft and gcraft_creative should go into the gamemodes folder. The map should go in the maps folder. (Make sure gmod isn't open when you copy them. If it is/was, restart gmod.) Then it should all show up. If you want to launch it via console, type the following console commands:
sv_gamemode gcraft_creative sv_defaultgamemode gcraft_creative map gcr_3456_b2

Also, to fix the glitchy looking textures when using the minecraft original textures, change line 11 in gcraft/gamemode/client/cl_meshmanager.lua from:
local Padding = 1 -- Pad by this many pixels each side
To:
local Padding = 0 -- Pad by this many pixels each side
This might introduce texture "leaks", but with any luck they won't be too bad.
I have tested it and liked it. But i want to know where i can download the Overv's version. Please help me.
I know that. The point I was trying to make was I don't feel like buying the game.
Again, it's free to play for the build mode, which is what this gamemode has recreated. It really is a nice gamemode and all but you could just open you're internet browser and play minecraft for free. Still great work though.

So this gamemode is officially dead, and waiting for another gamemode??

Seriously, this should be on the first page.
Thats an incredible thing. I wish more servers to host it and larger maps.
Why not just play minecraft? :raise:
why not just play infiniminer?
Why not just go outside and dig a hole?
Heh, back to the old "why not play the original" argument I see. Well, you're right. Minecraft creative is (for singleplayer usage) free, so go right on and play that. Because right now, Minecraft is far better than this. But Minecraft doesn't have lua support, whereas this does. The benefits of this will show when (if) someone makes castle wars or something using this as a base.
But Minecraft doesn't have lua support
...yet
...yet
Yes, I am hoping notch will add, if not Lua, some kind of simple plugin system so we can mod it as easily as gmod. Then it will be perfect, and this will become obsolete.
It's broken. :<
Yeah I attempted to run this and this spammed my console: (seemed to happen every tick)
ERROR: GAMEMODE:'PostDrawOpaqueRenderables' Failed: gamemodes\gcraft\gamemode\client\cl_world.lua:20: attempt to index upvalue 'mdl' (a nil value) ClientsideModel cannot be called while rendering
Replace the contents of cl_world.lua with this: http://thomasfn.pastebin.com/4wmWeJ0Q
need a server !!!!
Will we get a survival mode+enemies such as headcrabs and zombies and things? That would be neat.
That's coming in overv's gamemode. [editline]12:37PM[/editline] gcraft is up on my server again 24.61.215.107:27015 [editline]12:39PM[/editline] http://www.facepunch.com/showpost.php?p=24073031&postcount=87 http://www.jovacentral.com/gcraft-texture-issues-help-t248.html [editline]12:43PM[/editline] Also, for anybody that wants to see all of the blocks on the world, (concommands) Views gcr_mesh_distance 576 - default view /2 gcr_mesh_distance 1152 - is the default view distance gcr_mesh_distance 2304 - allows you to view a bit more than 1152 gcr_mesh_distance 3456 - should allow you to view all blocks on the world from any point while you're inside it.

Good work [editline]06:51PM[/editline] Nice!

Where to install?
is this gamemode alive and host-able on a server? i may get this hosted on the DC server since it looks fun :D
10:18 AM - Suttlespod: my dick just hit my face
It is true. Thats so awesome. I must admit tho, its a bit blocky.
Wow. High res Minecraft. My dreams have come true. Is it possible for you to port the textures so I can directly put them into Minecraft?
This gamemode don't function, because all needed module are not here (i think).
meshbuilder worldmesh physmanager worldsync pumsg worldloader worldgen world
You can upload them, or a fixed version? Thank You.

Make sure you extracted every file from the download properly.
