Yeah, that's probably it. I just reinstalled, and get the same problem. Again, can someone tell me how to check if the card is messed up?
There's generally no way of telling, it's probably overheating, just get a new card for like £60.
You might just have a shit card.

I came up upon a guy who had the same problem, and he said to upgrade my graphics card to 512 MB or higher.... I'll try it out, and tell yawl(lol) how it goes!

So, are you having problems running any other games/applications? Honestly, this doesn't seem like a hardware issue to me, you might need to upgrade your video card drivers, but this just doesn't really seem like something you'd want to go out and replace a video card for on a whim. Even if you're running on an integrated video card, you shouldn't be having problems like this.
