NoxiousNet admin's server rebinds people's keys to say racists things and threaten DDoS - Garry's Mod

Surely PERP has less uproar than ZS does and is far more useful to HG. They have hardly anything to lose if they stop hosting ZS. They're not allowed to make profit from ZS (I don't think they do anymore) namely. Then we wouldn't have a silly feud ignited by HG in the first place.

Can someone tell the story from start to end? Seems really interesting but it's hard to follow with no prior knowledge

Let's TL;DR Hellsgamers owns a version of the license from a long time ago that is basically a "do as you please" purchased copy, so anyone complaining about that is just being retarded. Jetbloom got upset about this and decided to raid Hellsgamers once like two fucking years ago. HG over reacted and group banned them when only the admins should have been banned. Whether this is a joke or not you dont force people to participate in the joke through nefarious means such as rebinding someones keybinds through an exploit. People are fucking retarded and may freak out and think they got a virus or something. Also le nigguh isn't even funny atleast have it bind to "HG is more of a cash farm than Farmville" or something atleast relevant. Also this is the first I've heard about Hellsgamers organizing steam server raids.

I can't wait any longer for zs 4.0 to come out and see this drama fucking end.

Lol not that I am from a certain community. But Mr.Green zs did it the correct way not to piss off the main creator of zs. We have elements to buy in game currency, but its not retarded like the set up like they have. Also HG can hurn in hell. How dare you touch and modify Stelks maps without permission! It seems like both servers have some talented coders, why not recode the shit from scratch to avoid the issues in the first place?

Crazy recently got banned on our server which is the main reason he is in this thread. Anyway, as I have stated a ton of times we are open to communication. JetBoom didn't make his new "no making money with ZS" license until October of last year before that it was GPLv3 (his SVN will show this). This spiral of drama started 2 years ago. Which JetBoom never so much as emailed us or notified us in anyway he had an issue with how we ran the server. This thread was created to warn people about Box's servers that are maliciously overwriting people's bind using an exploit in GMod (which I have confirmed is patched in dev). Also, I'm getting the Steam group ban reviewed. Think of it as good will to get this drama over with and solved.

Alright, well, I spoke to Box earlier and he said he took the servers down. They were originally meant to be a joke but they may've gotten out of hand, I don't know but basically you don't have to worry about it anymore. As for the HellsGamers/Nox thing, I'm not really sure what solution to offer, honestly. I do agree that if this topic is locked it probably won't discussed any further, but I don't think we're making much progress here regardless. Possibly bring it up on their forums? I don't really know, but Facepunch isn't really the place.
