I'm at university doing a games programming in C++ degree. I do a lot of personal C++ projects too, but haven't released anything yet. I've also made a few private Lua modules in C++. I've done my fair share of releasing free scripts to the GMod public for the last [i]6 years[/i] of my time helping and developing for the GMod community.

I personally enjoy Lua more than other languages. This is likely to change later on in my life.

It doesn't as such - it's their choice to whap out their dear Gran's card and pay you $300 for updates and support - which is all they really buy.
But I am kind of confused about how you email people signed up to your forum (apparently) asking for donations, and somehow have enough spare cash to get by, and get a title on top, all while you're struggling to pay internet bills.
