Just because he shot first doesn't instantly mean he gains supporters. He presented his argument and proof in a mature, organized fashion so people were intrigued to hear your side of the story.

Would take a few moments to create a much better one, the one I made eons ago counts all darkrp entities, removes ones people often spam if they're to many (hundreds of money/shipments etc), freezes all props, removes excessive constraints, counts keypads, checks & prints all e2 names and how many ops they're at.
Just freezing everything won't help to much if some twat has created 600 constraints along with spammed a few E2's designed to lag.

Something I've rarely seen implemented is a system that restricts the amount of certain props based on their physics models. There's a few props bundled with gmod that will lag just about any server to death even if there are less than 10.

I dunno if things are still the same but i used to crash cheaters when I banned them just incase they had devnull/any other booter. People are less likely to ddos a server they crashed on as opposed to a server they got banned from.

We detect on spawn of such being close together, if you mean the fun chairs etc. We don't remove them but we do disable all collisions & motion on them to stop the issue. Off topic abuse we go!

Whether this situation is resolved or not, coderhire still shouldn't exist imo.
It's real nice to see how rich kids can now have "custom content" on their servers, no matter how lazy they are.
Not to mention a lot of the stuff sold there is just stolen from other scripts.

Your opinion doesn't seem to take into consideration stuff that's free and on the Steam workshop. Yes, there are millions of servers that call themselves custom and every single thing that is custom can be found on another server, but that's going to happen regardless whether Coderhire exists or not.
Also, do keep in mind that the average Garry's Mod player probably doesn't really care if it's bought, made or found, as long as the content itself is fun/cool. That and if you try to advertise a server on Facepunch were almost everything is Coderhire content, you will get rip apart and I'm also sure it's probably rather nice for coders to get paid for something they've put a lot of time and effort into.

Yes, you're right, there is still some good that comes from coderhire, but now inexperienced server owners are able to host a server with actual good content, I mean, look at DarkRP Reloaded, it's been up for what, 2 months? It's already at rank 1 on gametracker and gets more players than modifiedRP.
It's creating a lot competition for people that actually work hard on their server, next thing you know the top 10 servers will be owned by rich 13 year old kids.

That I understand and it's always really shitty to see unique stuff get buried, but I think a lot of Garry's Mod players like what they're used to and enjoy the same usual stuff. I don't know anything about RP servers, but a lot of TTT servers are very similar to each other.
