I use E2 alot, but it has seriously ruined all the creativity in garrysmod, nonody even knows what the muscle constraint does nowadays, its kinda funny when some guy makes a 500 line E2 for moving a prop and then i use one contraint. But seriously, in gmod today a car is a E2 with thusands of features that dosent make it better at all. When i joined FP a car was a box, 4 wheels and 4 thrusters

If you play online, I will teach you everything I know about expression 2. I will explain exactly how all of this shit [i]works[/i] so at least you can have an [i]informed[/i] opinion. Does that sound like a good deal? If that doesn't change your opinion, fine. However, if I manage to change your mind about the possibilities, flexibility, and genuine usefulness of E2, [i]you will post a statement in this thread saying that you were wrong, misinformed, and too prideful to learn something new[/i].
I was on spacebuild. Me and BI0 were using extensions to create an emp grenade - It disables shields.
I honestly don't know how to use E2, but am taking small steps to learn how. E2, in my opinion, is a valuable tool that contributes to building. Sure, you can whine and scream about how it stifles creativity, but I think it [i]expands[/i] your creativity. Instead of standing in one place, carefully placing Wire gate and carefully wiring them to each and every input and output you want, you can just quickly code what you want the whole gate mess to do in 10 minutes. Like I said, I still can't really use E2 and therefore use the mess of gates, and to be honest, it's gotten annoying. One wrong click, one movement of the mouse, and what you wired where will become hard to discern. I've even seen some people that use invisible wires, and I don't know how they manage to disassemble that for future reference. So, I support E2 not even knowing how to use it. How's [i]that[/i] for all you "E2 is stupid"-spewing devil's advocates?
When using gates, I use invisible wires. I also use identity gates, in the case I need to change something such as a trigger.
What do ID gates do? Never heard of them...
Innovation, its a open source (ish) game. We try to make as many possibilites possible.
