Steam update just released. If you haven't been prompted, restart steam again.
Alright, so its good to see this wasn't Garry's fault, so no one here can really fix this issue; however, in the mean time I'm going to be looking at a couple of steam forums (Counter Strike Source and Garry's Mod.) to see if any Valve employees or Moderators are attempting to handle the situation.

the situation has been handled (supposedly). Steam should be prompting you for an update, get that shit and see if it fixes it.

Didn't fix our current issue.
Well then I don't know what to tell you. I barely know what I'm talking about as is haha, but it seems of the few affected by this, a few of them are fixed now. I guess just keep waiting. People are no doubt telling steam about it so hopefully they'll take notice and realize they need to fix it again.
I'm still waiting for the auto-update to underp and deliver...

Hey I'm getting this Unable to shade polygon normals(76561197974885778) But I owned this game since day one, I have over 1k hrs How do I just pirate it now?
Yeah I just deleted my clientregistry.blob to force a full update and still not working at all.
