Apparently GMOD just pirated itself. - Garry's Mod

I am just glad to hear they are doing a update and that i won't have to sit in hours of support tickets to find out why my bought gmod and other games don't work. With having to prove that i "DID" truly buy the games... I also wish with as big as steam is. You would think they would save not only there support team time but EVERYONE some time by sending out emails everytime they find a major issue or do a flipping update...

yeah, I'm also getting this issue and I've purchased this game since day 1 as well, i'm totally clean.

This might have something to do with the steam server repairs they are doing today.

Anyone else getting tired of updates breaking gmod? I mean, if Gmod was the wheel, Steam would be the guy constantly breaking it on the idea that some other shape is superior to a circle....

Yeah it is getting a little annoying but its a game and there computers. Can't expect everything to work 100% 24/7 365 days of the year. Point is steam is a fairly good program and gmod is a fun game. Also looks like mine is working again.

I'm fairly certain by now, most users games should be working properly.

Looking into this. The only way it can fail is if we ask steam if you own Gmod and they say NO they don't own it (not no answer, or timeout, or error). Yeah I can say its now working for me, no more problems. Bit of a scare there for a while though

Funny how all games purchased at the time of Orange Box and before are now listed under the acquisition method as "Complimentary". This includes Garry's Mod and CSS, which I bought separately. Weird.
