Just so you know, matt lied to you. He rents from http://www.poundhost.com who in turn colo in BlueSquare. [editline].[/editline]
Uptime guess: 1.073 days (since Mon Jun 13 22:51:28 2011)
Doesn't seem too great. [editline].[/editline] You should probably disable ICMP.
<snip>, please note though we do use alot of addons that are quite buggy for example CAP (Carters addon pack), Stargate, SBEP, SG-Groups, anyway its all in the name,
http://www.poundhost.com/ It's part of bluesquare, so it's not really "a special offer" as you made it look like. EDIT: ninjad :/
Fair enough then even still im happy with the service i receive simple as Still brilliant imo
45ms from my home line, 18ms from my VPS, and 9ms from my box. Not bad. [editline].[/editline] But seriously disable ICMP.
Sorry icmp ?
"Ping"'s protocol. [editline]15th June 2011[/editline] Also matt takes £15/m profit from you.
ive turned icmp off, and also i dont care they have to make money somewhere [editline]15th June 2011[/editline] also i get an i7 instead of the default xeon package so im getting better then i should be paying for
Odd, poundhost don't offer i7s. He must be co-locating your box.
thats what i have, may i ask where you are getting pound host from ? is it from a trace route ? Server details: Defo a i7
thats what i have, may i ask where you are getting pound host from ? is it from a trace route ? Server details: Defo a i7
Yes, the ip is owned by Poundhost. Have you always had a box with them or did you have separate game services before?
hmm what are you using to do a trace route ?
hmm what are you using to do a trace route ?
It's not a traceroute, the ip is actually owned by poundhost, it is registered like that in the ip database. And you didn't answer my last question: have you always had a dedicated box with them or did you have separate game servers before?
i had seperate game servers before that but then decided a dedi would be better, +i am getting better value for money with a dedi. although the serperate servers were the exact same i did not move to a dedi because i was having problems it was my own choise to save money not because of problems [editline]15th June 2011[/editline] just seen myself, yes its regested in poundhosts name but hosted @ blue square in maidenhead
inetnum: <snip> netname: Poundhost-9354 descr: Poundhost customer server remarks: ############################################################## remarks: Please report abuse incidents to abuse@as29550.net. remarks: Messages sent to other contact addresses may not be acted upon. remarks: ############################################################## country: GB admin-c: AO904-RIPE tech-c: AO904-RIPE status: ASSIGNED PA mnt-by: as29550-mnt source: RIPE # Filtered role: AS29550 Operators address: BlueSquare House address: Priors Way address: Maidenhead address: Berkshire address: SL62HP remarks: For abuse please contact abuse@as29550.net phone: +44 (0)1628 673131 admin-c: BJR admin-c: JOSH admin-c: CDP tech-c: BJR tech-c: CDP tech-c: JOSH mnt-by: as29550-MNT nic-hdl: AO904-RIPE source: RIPE # Filtered abuse-mailbox: abuse@as29550.net
[editline]15th June 2011[/editline] also nick the uptime is only 1 day because i had to restart it yesterday because of windows updates :) So thats ok
I did do a traceroute and more using nmap (How I got your uptime) but the poundhost info is whois.
ive submitted a support ticket to see what they say... see if they tell the truth although tbh i dont realy care great service imo [editline]15th June 2011[/editline] i shall post my findings tomorrow
Ive done some research and good for GTX, Poundhost are located at bluesquare! PoundHost Internet Ltd, BlueSquare House, Priors Way, Maidenhead, Berkshire, SL6 2HP. United Kingdom. This information can be found here :http://www.poundhost.com/contact/ and the reason the IP's are registered to poundhost is because GTX are located inside poundhost(which is half of bluesquare) thus it being registed to them, but the ip's belong to GTX
Why are you pretending to be two people? Matt & Jason? Also I hope this thread is a lesson to you on how your service is.
Gonna guess here that it's not "Matt's account" or "Jason's account" but is instead "GTXGaming's account" as the name suggests? They're sharing an account.

Regards Matt GTX
Wow, and now you're lying too to make me look bad. This is the FIRST time I did anything to get in contact with you. It's probably even the second time I came on your site. And I have a dynamic ip with a direct connection to my pc, I practically have a new ip every day. And if you would've taken me for a "troll", you wouldn't have given me serious answers.

They're both the same person yet he's trying to make them look like different people.

Peoples IPs are generally not static. Regards Flapadar SP

Regards Flapadar SP
Well then thats a fail as my ip and most of my friends ips are static that is down to ur ISP not anything else
Well then thats a fail as my ip and most of my friends ips are static that is down to ur ISP not anything else
Nope. No ISPs in Britain give out static IPs. Virgin Media is the closest you can get; generally they change once every 3 months or something like that.
