Using the depreciated mysql_escape_string()?
What's the difference between that and the suggested mysql_real_escape_string() apart from requiring a database connection and annoying me? Surely the charset of the database shouldn't matter too much.

The connection is the only difference.

Since I still have the website hosting for another year and the domain name, ill make something fun out of it. Maybe a random flash player related to Garry's Mod/TF2 etc.

Nothing good or bad about it from what understand.
Just people being Stan from southpark (relating to last episode :D). Honestly, it's a website/blog that provides ok reviews about things. People are just saying a bad reputation because they think it's boring, simply put: Don't read it then :)

Ahahaahha, even Garry says the website is bad.
I haven't heard of this website until now. Anyway, Otls used to be funny, then he made more videos and his voices just kind of got annoying.
