I think we forgot to cover a very important point early on in this whole fiasco: Who cares?

Something's up with my server, seems xenon didn't recognize my last payment, though I got a recepit. However, I didn't come crying here, none of you knew until I used it as an example. Instead, I set about fixing it myself. If someone from my community ran here and complained, I'd go no further than to say I'm working on it, or I've fixed it. Is there any reason for more?

There is tons of reasons for more.. 1. Its fun 2. Its funny 3. Were bored 4. What else reason do I need.. 5. lol

Calling the local police :v: I'm sorry, but that's just stupid. I understand contacting the government about being hacked but the local police? The local police deal with local crimes, you don't even know if the hacker is in the same country, do you?

Turns out my server's being down was the fault of DDoS. Still not calling the police... Seriously though, because of this, I know how you feel. Still, not a job for the police. They have far more important things to deal with.

I don't understand why everyone makes such a big deal of it. Hacking/DDoS is just an inconvenience really. As I said earlier, my server was DDoS'd about a week back. It was a huge pain, but, I dealt with it silently. I didn't enjoy it, but it definitely wasn't the end of the world, just a big inconvenience
