In gmod 9 I didn't know how to use the weld tool so I just used hundreds of nails to hold things together. :)
I spent months in advance studying the ways of gmod so the most difficult thing I came across was wiremod. =/ I'm boreing I won't talk anymore.
Hmm, For me, It would have to be trapping people with dumpsters, took me a few months to reach a sufficient level of Minge-Baggery. In all seriousness, It took me a while to figure out how to rotate props with the physgun.
I couldn't figure out how to freaking rotate stuff with the physgun.. it took ages. :argh:
I spawned a whole bunch of shit in wire, expected something AMAZING to happen.
i didn't know how to install addons for like year or longer
Every time I welded something I couldn't move it. I thought it was something wrong with my game as sometimes I could move the objects. I found out that I kept on forgetting that I froze one of the objects :/.
Didn't know how to use Shift E to snap the props.
I thought nails were the only thing that connects things to other things. 3 months in i noticed weld :D woo! Then i found out why my contraptions were so flappy :(
I also went for years without knowing about shift e. I used to shove props into a corner to get them at the correct angle. I also remember on my first day of gmod, I wanted to make a flying machine to soar around the sky, So i spawned a bunch of flat wooden props, roped and welded em together, And put balloons on them and floated up into the sky. (A process that took me about ten minutes.) Everything was going great into i slammed into an unexplainable invisible roof. My first encounter with the skybox.
Why is easy weld not working? The props don't show up where the ghost of it is shown. This isn't at all easy. :(
Lol at above post. I learnt about shift+e about a week after I just randomly smashed some buttons because I was sick of having to push a blast door up agaisnt a wall and the floor to turn it.
How do I move things around?
That explains the -2095 smartness.:v:
That's -2094.
I only recently found out that holding Shift+E snaps objects in place it makes things so much damn easier. lol
What the hell is the CONSOLE???
Didn't know how to weld. (Not Easy Weld).
Ya, same with me, if you go into my early save games you'd see that I have everything nailed because I couldn't figure out easy weld, figured it was messed up, so I didn't bother using normal weld either. lol
What the hell is the CONSOLE???
Lol lol lol lol lol lol lol lol lol lol!
I used ball socket on a bath, attached baloons, welded and jumped inside. I flied to the sky dead. Seriously.
That's -2094.
No that's -2093.
No that's -2093.
No that's Shawoddy woddy.
what does the physgun do? i epic fail
I read up on GMod before I actually bought it, so the only thing I can remember is not knowing what a mingebag is. "Seriously, where's this fucking bag, and why does it have minges in it?"
never knew how to freeze object or which gun picked stuff up?
Lets see... tried to make a flying ship our of BALLOONS, then I discovered hoverballs... tried to individually stack boxes on top of each other tried to pick up buildings, vehicles, etc. etc. with the GRAVITY GUN... tried to make a slingshot out of rope, nail, elastic... stuff like that and tried to change my player model by spawning ragdolls... thought somehow I merged with them to change it...
I didn't know how to make buttons do things like make a camera work
I didn't know how to use the physgun.
It took me MONTHS to figure out that Shift + E while holding items made them more lined up. I used to push them into the corners of the map to straighten them.
i didnt know how to freeze props
The OP should word his threads better as I was under the impression this is about the stupidest thing you did and didn't know how to do.
