I didn't know you could weld non-metal props together, so I used the nail tool instead.

I realised yesterday that you can contol noclip speed by shift and control.

holding down ctrl will make your noclip slow. o.O

I didn't know the thrusters (back in GMod 9) could attach themselves to what you shot with the toolgun. I shot straight up and hoped to fuck I could find it when it fell down.

I didn't know how to turn props with E. After that, a year later, I found out how to use Shift-e. This guy was on freespace_v3, and he was building a really nice house. I went up to him and silently watched. Suddenly, a PHX prop adjusted itself to a perfect 45 degree angle out of a mere 22. I was like "Holy shit how are you making perfect angles!?" and he said... "Shift-e?"

Gah, this is going far back but I think it was the SHIFT + E to align props.

Yeah, I remember playing gm_flatgrass and trying to align the props against the small wall of the spawn area. It was difficult for blast doors, they just seem to fold over the spawn ._.

I didn't learn about Shift + E until about a year after I bought Gmod.

First day I was on G-mod, I was spawning poles to try and make... I can't even remember what, I arranged them all together using the physgun and seemed all proud of myself, I wanted to ask the server how to move, but try as I might, I couldn't type, I hit enter a thousand times and jumped like crazy, finnaly got the attention of one of the admins by fireing a rocket at him. (No damage server *Wipes brow*) and he spoke in voip. "Why the hell did you do that?" I jumped a few times and he finnaly said. "Hit Y to chat you minge." And I taka taka taka'd my way to "Oh thank you, how do you make something you made move?" He says. "First you gotta unfreeze it..." *long pause* "With R" And I did it. Seeing how nothing was welded, everything fell apart Also, First post!
