I plan to. That might be the hardest thing im going to have to code. It's going to be included with the random events feature and will be quite number heavy.

I like the forum idea.
I also have an objective for the game. You have to reach 32 community members within sixty days. You do this by developing gamemode, getting better forums and other things like taking a community down so that there players come to you.

To apply for alpha testing, do we need to know the language you're coding in? (C# or C++, I always get mixed up)
Or do we just need the ability to give constructive criticism and the ability to find bugs?

Okay. I have been working on it for about 4 hours now and have added several things...
- A system where you are charged $40 every 10 day's for the Data-center.
- A system where you can attack rival communites.
- Forum upgrade which helps bring new members.
- Events such as communities contacting you and DDOS attacks.
It's also starting to feel more like a game now. It's quite difficult aswell!

Add different ways to attack communities, like DDoS, organized mass minging, bribing hosts to take down servers...
Rpgsuite.com, could be a rival community, or on the otherhand, you could just swap names around and add major communities as a parody, heh.
Just so you guy's know the early beta will be released later today (I hope).
It won't have all these extra features you have mentioned but im sure I will implement them at some point in the future :D

Among ALL other free file hosts that don't make you wait, like Mediafire, Box.net, and even DropBox, you choose the one that makes you wait for nearly 2 minutes.
Anyway, it's an interesting game concept, I don't see how 5 additional members would need roughly 300 more botnets, but sure.

100 is supposed to be the end of the game. I just didn't put a cap on it for the alpha.
On reflection a Fatigue limit would be quite good and I know about the advertising. I haven't added it yet. On the version I actually posted on this thread I put (NOT AVAILABLE ON ALPHA) on all of the button's that don't work.
Apart from that what do you think of the actual gameplay?

I like it. Nice gameplay, the interface is boring though, if you could add images for random events and stuff as well it would look better. Also maybe a Wider interface instead of having a taller one.

Suggestion, you should be able to buy botnets from the shop more then once. It's hard to destroy the other communities.

Im going to increase the stock to 3.
Also, I got a bug. If you go bankrupt I assume the game is meant to end. However, you can get yourself out of debt by going to work and you can continue to develop your community without paying the datacenter. It's coming along nicely though.

That is a problem indeed. I will probably do some simple code to check the label color. If it's red the game ends. Simples.
